Stuck in an Elevator (Adam x Reader)

( Last Adam x Reader for a while. I made a bunch. )

It was about time for the animators to head over to Vidcon. Adam had a few panels to get to and a meet and greet. Y/N on the other hand, didn't have much to do, she had a meet and greet and one panel but it was her first ones and she was super excited.

Adam walked out of his room and waved at Y/N. He didn't expect he knew to still be in the hotel because of how late he was. "You late too?" he asked. "Yeah, just on my way to take the elevator." Y/N said walking with him. The two walked to the end of the hall excited about the day before them.

"Ready for your first panel?"

"Hell yeah! I'm so excited! Aww man it's gonna be so cool!  I've been watching Vidcon panels before but I never thought I would be on one! I can't believe it."

"Believe it Y/N because it's happening." Adam said.

Once they reached the end of the hall there was an elevator. The door just opened and the two stepped in. The elevator was pretty fancy, it even had a glass wall so you could see outside. It had nice elevator music too. Suddenly, the lights started to flicker on and off and the music stopped playing. The elevator shock a bit until it stopped.

"Uh...What happened?" Adam asked. Y/N nervously pushed the buttons. Nothing was working. She pushed faster and started to panic. "No, no, no, no, no, NO!!! We're stuck!" she yelled.

The two started to panic. They had only 2 hours before the panel. Adam called the fire department while Y/N pressed the phone button, letting whoever worked there know about the broken elevator. 30 minutes wasted.

Adam's POV

I was really worried that we wouldn't make it in time for our panel, let alone a meet and greet. Y/N wasn't taking the news so well ethier. She had he arms crossed and her head down, swearing under her breath. "Y/N, you ok?" I asked her. She didn't move. I tried touching her shoulder and it snapped her back.

"AHHH- Adam!" she screamed. She jolted back and looked at me in fear. I knew she had anxiety and didn't like small spaces. I was worried about her. "You ok? You seemed scared."

"Y-yeah, I'm good." she stuttered. I wanted to believe her but she looked scared as hell. I checked the time and we only had an hour and thirteen minutes left. Shit....

Y/N's POV

Your never getting out of here. Your trapped. You deserve to be here. No one's coming. You should of gotten here earlier.  A light sob escaped my mouth. Adam looked at me again. His worried expression only made me feel worse. I slide into the floor and laid my head on my knees. Hot tears started failing out as another sob escaped me.

And another.

And another.

Adam came down infront on me. He didn't say anything but hugged me. I hugged him back too scared to say anything. "Wanna talk?" he asked me.

"I'm sorry it's just, this isn't my first time getting stuck in an elevator. When I was younger I was late to school because of it. I was stuck until after school. It's where I became claustrophobic. My mom was so mad she made fun of me and punished me for not making it to school in time. Now we're gonna be late for our panel. It could be nighttime till be get out."

Adam's POV

Poor Y/N. She was so scared and I didn't know what to do. I looked outside the glass window and we were really high up. My heart dropped as I saw we were so high the people below looked like specks. It made me a little dizzy and I didn't see any firetrucks.

I grabbed my phone and went to Netflix. "Wanna watch a movie while we wait? It'll make you feel better." Y/N nervously smiled and chose a movie for us to watch. It was an hour long and it was a romantic comedy because of course. She leaned her head into my shoulder as I wrapped my arm around her. My face heated up and I found her looking at me more than the movie.

When the movie was done we only had 11 minutes until the panel started. "Thanks for cheering me up Adam. I really needed it today." she said. "No problem Y/N." Even though we were gonna miss the panel I was happy that I got to make her smile.

Suddenly, the doors started to open. Some firemen opened the door and let up out free! We thanked them and raced to Vidcon. Luckily, we were only 5 minutes late and they just got done setting up.

"Where were you guys? We almost had to start without you!" Shugger asked. We looked at each other and looked back at her. "Stuck in an elevator." Y/N said.

The panel was super fun and we both had a great time. Backstage everyone was heading over to the meet and greet. We followed way behind as we both talked with each other.

"We should watch another movie together sometime." Y/N suggested.

"Yeah, but I'm choosing next time, and it's gonna be Marvel!" I told her.

"Ok Adam." she brushed he hand through my messy hair. "Anyone else coming?"

"Well..." I said grabbing her hand from my hair and holding it. "It could just be the two of us if you want." I said. Her face was bright red as she smiled. "I would love that." she kissed my on the cheek and winked at me. She cought up with everyone else as I felt my cheek processing what the hell just happened. I smiled brightly as I got to the meet and greet.
