The couple delved into the sweet kiss as Arthur made the first movement by placing his hands on Lilian's waist to which she followed with her hands slithering to his hair. Lilian tugged gently at Arthur's rough locks as he pushed into the kiss, his hands beginning to cradle her back as he placed her into the grass with him above her. Lilian could taste the sweet whisky from his mouth. Both their minds were at complete ease, as they fell into a bliss in each other's touch.

Arthur pulled away, which planned to just be for for a moment, viewing the girl below him. He wanted her, he wanted her to be his in those moments, never wanting anyone else to have this moment with her in the future. Their eyes sunk into each other's as they focused on each others features; Lilian couldn't help but notice the softness in Arthur's eyes. Arthur remained in awe even when Lilian spoke to him. "Arthur?"

"Huh? Oh um..." Arthur sat back up onto this knees, his cheeks red and his palms sweaty. "Are ya..Are ya ready for bed?" He had an awkward smile as he looked to the ground, anywhere but Lilian's face.

"Y-Yes I think it would be best." Lilian stayed where she was for a second, gathering her thoughts as to what to think of Arthur at this point. That was her first kiss and she was afraid he knew that. She soon felt a soft cushioning to her side as Arthur chucked her a sleeping roll. He begun to set himself up at the other side of the fire, laying on his back in the grass before being interrupted by Lillian, beginning to take off his jacket. "You can have this-"

"No keep it on." Arthur interrupts back. "You'll get colder than me probably." Lilian nodded shyly, still the both of them had flustered faces causing Arthur to face opposite to her.

Both laid awake as long as their anxieties could keep them before they passed out eventually, not knowing how to face each other in the morning even though they would relive the moment they had a hundred times again if it wasn't complicated.

Lilian awoke to the clear morning before Arthur. Her eyes first saw the sun glistening against the rain droplet covered grass and looked around aimlessly before her mind wandered to her moments with Arthur last night, beginning to flutter from embarrassment. She heard rustling from behind her to which her body to turned to see Arthur on the other side of the burnt out fire, just watching her. "Oh morning. I wasn't sure if you were awake." Arthur looked away quickly as he knew he had  been staring.

"Oh yeah." Lilian sat up, rubbing her eyes softly, still sleepy from the rough sleep as the grass wasn't very comfy. Arthur watched her intently, not knowing with this sudden rush of feelings every time he looked at her. Everything she did was art in his eyes. "I'm glad the weather is better."

"Oh yeah. We will head in a sec, you hungry?" Lilian shook her head at Arthur's question as she wobbled out of the sleeping roll, stretching her arms and back as she had a little walk to get rid of the numb feeling in her feet from sleeping on such an awkward position. They both stayed silent as they packed away, both knowing they were avoiding the talk about their kiss. Whilst Arthur was helping Lilian up onto Solitaire before they left, Lilian finally spoke up. "Are you just going to avoid the topic?" She smirked a little but it morphed to her biting her lip as Arthur looked at her with a scowl.

"We'll talk about it later. We need to get back to camp or else they'll go out looking for us." Lilian huffed at Arthur's reply but he cocked is eyebrow. "No attitude or whining as well, I'm not in the mood." He grunted as he climbed up on the back of Solitaire, reaching to let him take a bite from his apple before heading off back to the dingy town of Valentine. Lilian sulked most of the way, her mind confused to why Arthur was so passive at the moment.
