Please know I love all of you dearly, and any unhelpful comments will be deleted 🥰

A//n: now. In a weak attempt at getting you guys to laugh since there's so much heavy content lately, I wanna give a shout-out to the time me and my family went to see IT for the first time and I was prepared for the bathroom jumpscare scene coming up cause I studied the trailer so that watching my first horror movie in a theater was a little easier. But then my mom yelled "JIMINY CRICKETS!!" in the middle of the crowded theater and everyone laughed and I was next to her having a mini heart attack cause she jumped and grabbed me at the exact same moment pennybitch grabbed Beverly and also she was super loud in my ear ✌

Heads up: if one of you even thinks about thirsting over Pennywise in any way I'm grounding you all. Don't forget, I get a notification for every comment which means I have to read them all and I'm begging you, I can't handle it. I just can't. I'm too tired to read even one more thirst comment or dirty joke please I begging 😭

     Five times.

Five times Beverly heard Richie's unmistakable stomping up the fire escape outside to the floor below. Five times since the Losers broke up, Bev heard Richie come to collect Y/n. And five more times they stomped back down, not once venturing another step up.

But Beverly didn't blame them. They were probably still pissed at her, and maybe she was still pissed at them. She wasn't quite sure anymore. All Beverly knew was how much she missed Y/n L/n and Richie Tozier. How much she missed being a Loser.

Five times. Five times Beverly nearly ripped open her porch door and threw herself and all her beliefs right out. Just to be with them again. And she believed with her whole heart one day she would, she just didn't know when.

Five times Beverly nearly threw caution to the wind to just be with them again. And when the sixth time came, she finally did.

It was one of the hotter days of August. The fridge was having a hard time keeping cold and not overheating and the air was sticky, even inside. She had just used the bathroom and was headed back to her room when she heard it. It was faint, but it was there. The walls were still shit which meant even from down the hall she could hear Richie running up the stairs outside her apartment.

It was time. Her time of cold isolation with her father... well Beverly thought she just might take the clown instead. But she never allowed herself to even think the thought. Just in case.
