I did my research over the past year and this is a thing for people with childhood trauma , a coping mechanism. This is also a form of DDLG [Daddy Dominant , Little Girl]
But if it's caused by childhood trauma and you relieve stress by making yourself think you're younger , isn't that like masochism? You're using the scars of your past , thinking of your pained childhood to get through your anxieties WHILE making excuses for this. Also it's scientifically impossible for this to be a thing because there's no proof in your brain that your age / mindset is changing. During a change such as , for example , a PTSD episode , different parts of your brain are active. This whole thing is an act and it's just plain ignorance. People need to know that there is a time in life that they need to grow up and change their own diapers.
I've had a couple friends who do this little space thing and .. i'm trying to come to accept it , but someone who actually does change when having a schizophrenic episode , i'm finding it quite hard to accept it. Perhaps one day.
