6. Pocky (Original Shipping)

It was a very lovely evening. The Pokemon were enjoying themselves and Red was catching on some relaxing and get together time with Green. They were planning to go to Alola in three months but it did not hurt to take a break from their hectic schedules to spend time with each other. They had decided to finish more than three months worth of paperwork and responsibilities as much as possible, in order to have quality uninterrupted time together.

The two of them were surprised when the elite four insisted they take the evening off. A lot of the times, Lance would be nagging them to do their paper work while Lorelei, Bruno and Agatha would look at them exasperated. The two had a knack for getting involved with either Team Rocket or poachers unintentionally, which always created a ton of paper work to clear up.

Flashback:

Agatha, "You two have been working really hard these days."

Lance nodded seriously, "The Elite Four can handle the responsibilities for an evening by themselves."

Lorelei smiled kindly, "Yeah! Just take a break you two and go home. We can deal for a few hours before you guys are back."

Bruno huffed, "You're pushing yourselves too hard!"

Actually the four elites just did not want to see Red and Green getting lovey dovey everytime they ended up coming together, to the headquarters, on this particular day of the month and so the four of them insisted they take a break and spare them, the single ones from the PDA. They usually were not the type to give them a break. But Red was not really complaining. It was actually very considerate of them, if you consider the fact Lance keep bringing more and more paperwork for Red to sign everyday. He swears it's Lance's personal revenge for taking the title 'Champion' from him.

Flashback end!

Green walked in holding a red box. Red almost got up out of curiosity but Green motioned him to just stay on the couch. He then opened the box and took out a pocky stick. Red watched curious about what Green was planning. Green held the pocky stick to Red's mouth and Red bit the pocky and started to eat it without dropping it. Green bit on the other side and started to eat the pocky getting closer and closer to kissing Red. Red started to blush at that and they were almost kissing but all of a sudden. The pocky broke into half before their lips could connect.

The two lovers stared at each other and ended up giggling like when they were kids. Red took out another Pocky and motioned to Green to do it again. This time they manage to not break the thin stick and ended up kissing each other. It started as a simple peck that turned into a full blown make out session. Red put his hands around Green's head pulling him closer while Green grabbed Red's waist with one hand and cupped his cheek with the other before breaking the kiss and smiling.

Green murmured, "I missed this."

Red looked at him curiously, "This?"

Green smiled, "You know, us! I missed us. Just spending time together. No missions, no paperwork, no challengers. Just you and me and our Pokemon."

Red nodded, "And in a few months it will be you and me for a whole week. On a beautiful beach with a beautiful sunset. I cannot wait."

Green laughed feeling really happy, "Me too!"

Green bent down to nuzzle Red. And Red nuzzled back. Red went to take another pocky stick only to be bewildered to find it missing. Red was sure he had placed the pocky packet on the table next to them. He got up from Green's lap and started to look around the table only to stop and pause in contemplation.

Red, "Did we finish the pocky already?"

Green blinked, "What? No way!..... Wait, I think, I know where it is or rather who took it."

Green snickers as Red turns to see the rest of the pocky sticks being eaten by Pikachu and Eevee the same way their trainers were eating it. Red chuckled at the adorable sight and sat up to cuddle with Green instead. It was a very lovely and peaceful evening for them. A much needed reprieve from trying to finish all the paperwork and fulfilling responsibilities just so they can have an uninterrupted vacation later on.
