I started to roam my eyes around the local area of an unrestrained remote hospital.

I heaved out an edgy sigh. Here I am-- nandito na ako. Wala na namang bawian pa. No more thoughts of escaping from this nightmare.
The mackerel breeze started to touch my cheeks and neck. It is so freaking frigid and it absolutely lingers down on my spine. Sobrang nakakapanibago. Sobrang nakakakilabot. I just can't decipher the feels of this building. Parang nababalutan nang nakakapanindig-balahibong istorya.
Huling punta ko pa dito ay noong bata pa ako. St. Maxwell was the hope of this region. But then suddenly, all of those hopes and anticipations went astray-- vanishing like a bubble in a middle of nowhere. Basta, nagulat na lamang ako, wala na ang lahat. No more doctors, no more patients. As if they were all dead all of a sudden.
Itinulak ko ang gate na animo'y tumagal sa loob ng ilang dekada dahil sa pagkakalawang. Isang tulak nalang siguro ay sira na ito.
I slowly took light steps, avoiding to make any noise. Hindi ko alam kung tama ba yung pinupuntahan ko pero nagtitiwala ako sa guts ko. The wailing sound of the wind welcomed my face, as if it was waiting for me to come inside.
I was about to take another step pero agad akong nakalanghap nang masangsang na amoy na nanggagaling mula sa loob.
Shit, ano 'yon?
Due to curiosity, tuluyan ko na ngang pinasok ang loob-- not knowing that there is no possible easy way out.
