The next morning, Anurag woke up early as usual and was catching up on some office work. There was just over a week left till their wedding, and he wanted to finish up as much work beforehand. They had a project deadline in a few weeks and since all his colleagues and employees would be present at the wedding, he felt responsible for taking on more work now so others would not have to work overtime later. He got engrossed in his work for a while, then he heard his phone ring. Assuming it was Prerna, he was excited and quickly picked up the call.

Anurag: Haan, bolo Prerna. Kya baat hai? Tum itni jaldi uth gayi?

Surya: Actually it's Surya...Maine shaadi ki taiyyari ke baare mein poochne ke liye call kiya. Lagta hai ab tumhe to Prerna ke aage kuch dikhta hi nahi. Itna achcha lagta hai tum dono ko khush dekh ke

Anurag: Oh sorry Surya, maine call receive karne se pehle naam nahi dekha. Lekin haan, Prerna has a very special place in my life. Agar uske chehre pe khushi nazar aati hai to mujhe aur kuch nahi chahiye. Chalo anyway, kya poochna tha?

Surya: Prerna ki taraf ke North Indian wedding rituals ke liye arrangements zyaadatar ho gaye hai. Uski lehenga almost stitch ho chuki hai aur Bengali shaadi ke liye Mohini Aunty ne saare gehne aur kapde taiyyar karke rakhe hai. Jab lehenga taiyyar hai to Sannidhi jaayegi Prerna ke saath fitting ke liye. Sirf Bengali shaadi or rasmon ke liye arrangements ke baare mein jaan na tha, taaki main aur Sannidhi thik se set kar paaye. We just want everything to be perfect, just like how you both planned our wedding rituals. Aur tum aur Prerna humare liye bahut special hai. Ajeeb hai na, kuch mahino mein hi zindagi puri tarah se badal gayi.

Anurag: Sahi keh rahe ho tum Surya. Looking back now, disbelief si hoti hai ki kuch din aur kuch faisle itne important hote hai. Aur jab pyar humari zindagi mein aati hai, hum saare dard bhool hi jaate hai. To main Maa se baat karke arrangements mein kya kya chahiye poochke tumhe bataunga. Ab ke liye jo mujhe yaad aa raha woh sab bata dunga

So Anurag described all the items and arrangements he could think of for the Bengali wedding.

Surya: Ok sounds good, Aunty se poochne ke baad list message kar dena. Tum shaam ko venue pe aa sakte ho Prerna ke saath. Do din mein haldi hai na to I just want to make sure ki uske liye sab taiyyar hai- phool, lighting, snacks waghera.

Anurag: Thik hai hum aa jaayenge. Aur ek baat, functions ke baad jo bhi khana bach jaata hai hum un logon ko pahunchayenge jinke paas zyaada paise nahi hai yaa bhooke hai. Prerna bhi yahi keh rahi thi ki bahut log khana waste karte hai unnecessarily to yeh sahi hoga.

Surya: Woh to bahut achchi baat hai, main woh sab sambhaal lunga. So see you both in the evening!

Anurag went to ask Mohini about the arrangements so he could inform Surya and Sannidhi about them, and then he opened up his laptop and continued his office work once again.

Meanwhile at Sharma Nivas...

Prerna was still sleeping and was lost in her world of dreams. During the day, her thoughts always seemed to revolve around Anurag, so it was no surprise that she often met him in her dreams as well.

In her dream..

Anurag was sleeping next to her, looking so innocent and peaceful. Prerna was tired and was trying to fall asleep but she couldn't help but admire how cute he was looking. Just then he mumbled in his sleep, "Prerna...kabhi mujhe chodke mat jaao, mujhe tumhari zaroorat hai". Prerna smiled and sat up, bending over closer to him.

Prerna: Nahi Anurag, aisi galti main kabhi nahi karungi. Tumhare alava meri zindagi mein aur kya hai? Tum mere liye sab kuch ho, sabse badhkar ho

She gently kissed the back of his hand, and held his hand against her heart so he could feel her heartbeat. She then shifted closer to him, trying to be careful not to wake him up. Gently lifting his hand again, she ran his fingers over her cheek, wanting him to stay close to her forever. She closed her eyes, holding his hand as she too fell asleep.

"Preu di! Kya kar rahi ho tum? Main Anurag nahi hoon. Haath chodo nahi to main jiju ko bataungi ki tum uske baare mein sapne dekh rahi thi", said Shivani confused.

Hearing Shivani, Prerna woke up, stretching and slowly opening her tired eyes.

Prerna: Kya hua Shivi, maine kya kiya? Mujhe kyu uthaya, bahut thak gayi hoon. Sone do

Shivani: Mujhe bhi sona hai, lekin yahan nahi. Tum to Anurag ke baare mein sapne dekh ke mujhe pareshaan karogi. You were pulling my arm and holding my hand to your face. To obviously tumhe laga ki main nahi jiju tumhare saath hai yahan pe

Prerna: (turning red in embarrassment) Kya? Aisa kuch nahi hai, mujhe yaad hi nahi hai ki mere sapne mein kya ho raha tha

Shivani: Chalo thik hai waapas jao apni sapno ki duniya mein, main to kuch der aur sona chahti hoon, dusre kamre mein jaaungi

While teasing her, Shivani left the room and Prerna blushed again thinking about the dream. She felt so embarrassed that now even Shivani knew what was going on in her dream. "Lekin kaash main us sapne ko continue kar sakti thi...Shivi ne achcha khaasa sapna kharaab kar diya", she thought. Hoping that she would get a similar dream again, she went back to sleep for some time.
