Issue 98# "Segment 8: The Unexpected!"

''What.... what just happened to me?" Cecaniah woke from her slumber, with a dizzying headache and beat body she first collected her surroundings -- a high tech infirmary with top-class medical equipment and tools and at her side more beds but occupied by her teammates. The beds infront were occupied by survivors from different parts of the world. "I beat the shit out of you, that's what happened." Automatic doors opened from the entrance of the room, Jin and the other teams have regrouped to rethink their strategies. "Pretty sure Amado got the same treatment as before." Jin added as the masked vigilante was left dumbfounded by what she meant. Lia checked the pulses and afterward relieved nobody died. "Wow. The irony. Lia!" Jin fell on her knees laughing like Chris Evans; Lia was once killed by Amado. "Are you done laughing, Jin?" VP Kiryuu asked Jin. Jin raised an index finger and laughed obnoxiously. "How come we're letting soldiers handle the markers?" VP Kiryuu directed his attention to Jin, wiping the tears at the corner of her eyes before standing up to speak clearly. "The bullets are custom made." Jin replied to the blonde. 

"We have to finish what we started but Mephitics are headed in our direction, I've got to supply all of you with alike-blood infused weapons." Jin added as she exited the area leaving Cecaniah to her own devices. Cecaniah was utterly confused and just hit the hay, she needed to recover especially from a beating from Jin. The group paced normally through corridors, the rooms were occupied with scientists, engineers, architects, hackers -- all working together under the supreme control of Jin herself. As they made a few turns and went down a twisty stairway heavy security cameras and lightings bolted on the walls of the area until reaching the main area for weapon finalization. Weapons were delicately displayed inside protective cubicles and cabinets. "Amado works here too. It helps to have more than one brain here." Jin added gesturing to the newly made proton canon inside a larger glass cabinet. Lucia couldn't help herself admiring the gun as the group moved on. 

The area was like a maze but there were map layouts hanging on cabinets and walls to be sure where it was. The overabundance of weapons used by employees, whereas Jin used the least number of them -- reached destination -- Jin's weapons. The weapons were floating in mid-air as if anti-gravity controlled its movement. "Well, my employees are smart enough to realize I don't just leave my weapons like that. I've created a protocol system existing in every country I've incorporated, it's called 'Theft Eliminator'. Any thefts have been identified and will be hunted down until their very last breaths." Jin explained as green footprints followed her pace along with the rest. "North Korea too?" Amado cuts in. "It also is in effect here," Jin didn't miss a beat. "With all that out of the way." 

Multiple white-painted firearms consisting of general designs; handguns, shotguns, assault rifles and grenade launchers. But the barrels were shaped in triangular shapes and double barrels for more kicking more. "Wouldn't armed doomsday weapons work better?" Amado suggested to them. "And what will you defend yourselves with once the mephitics come? And you think Rethaf wouldn't just appear and disarm that?" Jin added to them, the mention of the being made them blaunch their skin. "You're right." The weapons floated infront of the group, ammunition specifically made for specific guns. The rounds were encased inside a box labeled with Jin raising a thumb. "All of you just need to know these things are far more dangerous than markers." Dual katanas deeply coated in alike blood seemingly permanent, more unsophisticated weapons floated down to Jin; shurikens, and sais. All of the weapons were coated in the same substance as the katanas were, she sheathed the swords into sword belts and the shurkiens pocketed, the sais holstered at her hipsides. "What about CC's defense for the planet?" Sakuya mentioned. "Won't work. We're beings who are beyond immunities and the idea of omnipotence, and this is what these monsters have reduced us to." Jin says after raising her forearm up to her face, a small holographic screen met Jin's eye-level then showed the planet Earth and Mephitic's planet -- CC's defenses were penetrated by the power of the mephitics but the planet itself did nothing against it. 

"If you're going to ask me. no. Believe me, technological means in finding the villains will be proven ineffective. We have to maintain our planet's forests, water, glaciers, and land first." Jin turned to face her siblings; Jasmine and Jary. She went on ahead of the group alone, like always she'd solo things, whilst her siblings; Jude, Josiah, Joia, have readied themselves for a fight against a greater threat. Jin carried a large bucket of alike blood and downpoured it on herself, the flow of red ran past her neck to her legs and she made sure to get the heels. The whole room the group stayed in suddenly moved like in a series of changing the piece of a puzzle until they found themselves at the diving zone. Soldiers prepared for the worst arming themselves with the same guns as they did, strapping on parachutes before lining up to dive. "Jin must've went on ahead." The rest then took off like the soldiers did.

That claim wasn't true, she checked up on her mother to see what's up. A door heavily protected with firearms, disintegrating lasers and an ai. She easily accessed the door and pushed it, revealing a room with a king mattress bed, fine carpet, curtains and horizon portraits. Accompanied by a bathroom and kitchen, she spotted her mother sitting on the couch watching something. "Hi, mom." Jin pushed the door open, Hana averted her eyes from the hentai she was watching. "A-" Hana was going to freak out at her daughter if she had something to say something about it. "No wonder I like porn so much." Jin commented. Hana failed to swallow her laughter, she lets out a satisfied laugh. "Wow. I thought you were going to have a different reaction!" She soon caught her breath, she didn't miss a beat.

"How come you're covered in blood? Are you hunting vampires?" Hana raised a brow at the sight of Jin. "Hah! I see what you did there!" Jin slapped her knee letting out a heartily laugh. "I'm actually going to fight off monsters like the markers. I just came here to say I love ya mom." Jin stayed outside the room; she didn't want to ruin the carpet. Hana gets off the bed and walked towards her daughter merrily. 

"Well, how about a high five instead?" Jin suggested -- Hana wanted to kiss Jin's cheek but she was covered in blood. "Sure." Hana highfived her daughter. "I love ya too, honey." Hana smiled at her daughter. "See ya around, mom." "Have a safe trip!"Jin was then immediately fell through the ground, like being sucked through a straw. "Well, better watch my hentai then." Hana cuts up the awkward silence and closed the door, minding to her own devices. 

Jin was heading to a very familiar place -- the amazon forest. Whilst the rest took their spots in Norway, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, to help preserve the animals too. "Come out, memetics." She joked with a serious tone, wading through the green.
