(Part 2 of Akiara's past)

The opening of a new hospital of the Ootori family, Mr. Ootori, Kyoya, Akiara, Mr. Aldous, and other people involved had come.

Although it was an opening of a hospital, they were currently at a hotel near the hospital for an upcoming short meeting before opening it because Mr. Aldous had something he wanted to announce

"Aki dear, can you hold onto this for me? I'm going to the bathroom real quick" Mr. Aldous said as he gave Akiara a usb drive

"Of course father" Akiara said as she placed it on her skirt pocket

Akiara sat down on a chair, the pocket was shallow and the usb drive slid off on her chair, she could've noticed it since she was about to adjust her siting position when Kyoya came

"Aki" Kyoya went to sit next to her  "Can you get me a drink, your dad is talking to someone near the drink station and I don't want to intrude"

"Kyo!" Akiara stood up with a smile "Sure, I'll go get you something to drink, be right back"

As Akiara went to grab Kyoya a drink, Kyoya saw the usb drive on her chair, he took it and hid it in his inside jacket pocket. "You're not only annoying but stupid? Well you lost it get ready for consequences"

Kyoya looked at his father, Mr. Ootori has brought him here but has yet to acknowledge him, Kyoya even went with Akiara to go here. Kyoya looked at how Akiara and her father interacts.. they were happy, sometimes he can't fathom the fact that his girlfriend is living the life he always wanted, to inherit the family company, and have a happy family. Ever since Kyoya's mother died and his sister moved out they were no longer the happy family, he can't even inherit the company because of his older brothers

"Aki my dear, can you give me my usb drive?" Mr. Aldous asked before Akiara could grab a drink

"Of course father" Akiara fished in her pocket but found nothing, it was pretty evident in her face, since that was her only pocket in her dress, and it was shallow so she only had little room to search for

Mr. Aldous saw this "It's fine Aki dear, it's a mistake"

"Alright. Thank you father"

Mr. Aldous then went out for a bit to have a word with his butler Raynard

"How embarassing" Kyoya said loud enough to catch the people's attention but not too much to make it seem like he wanted them to hear it "Mr. Aldous called this meeting, and he asked you to take care of it, but here you lost it?"

Akiara looked at the people on the room, they were staring at her because of Kyoya's comment, some were glaring at her for their time being wasted. Kyoya's father sighed and rubbed his forehead mumbling "What a bad timing"

Akiara nervously looked down at her feet "If.. you give me time I can-"

"What? Find it?" Kyoya asked "Even if you did, the meeting starts at less than two minutes right? You want to make all of them waste their time?"

"...no...but-"

Kyoya turned, he smiled at the people and bowed down "I apologize for what my fiancè did, she is usually careless and carefree but I didn't know it was to this extent"

Some people snickered at the comment, and some glared at Akiara harder. Just being 11 years old, Akiara felt pressured at the looks and ran away just in time for her father to come in "Aki? Where is Aki going?"

"Sir Aldous, my son has just scolded your daughter for losing the usb drive, then she went running out unceremoniously" Mr. Ootori said "I must say it was pretty rude of her to do that"

"You scolded her? Infront of everyone else?" Mr. Aldous asked seeing that a lot of people were looking their way

"She seemed to be a little unfazed when she lost it so I taught her a lesson" Kyoya said and turned outside "But worry not I will get her back here, after this may I ask about the engagement? She seems unfit" Kyoya ran out to look for Akiara

Just after Kyoya ran out, Mr. Aldous grew angry "Your son dare embarass my daughter?"

"With all due respect sir Aldous, she DID lose a usb drive, he has right to scold her especially when she hardly cared when it was lost" Mr. Ootori said, most of the people listening in were nodding

"Has he ever asked her why?" Mr. Aldous asked "The reason for her small reaction was because I have several back-ups and she knows it! They're programmed to delete everything in  it after a day so it was perfectly safe in case hacked! Why do you think I let her have it in the first place?! Your son just embarassed my daughter infront of all of you and no one dared to just ask her?! Your son even called MY daughter unfit"

Mr. Ootori was stunned and went silent, so did everybody else in the room

"I am canceling my daughter's engagement with your son! I am also breaking off my friendship and partnership with you!"

Kyoya had found Akiara behind some bushes trying to fight off tears "That's what you get for being careless" Kyoya said as he took the usb drive out of his jacket pocket and looked at it "Seriously dropping it off so quickly?"

"You knew?!" Akiara widened her eyes and for the first time ever, she got angry at Kyoya, she slapped Kyoya, and she glared at Kyoya. "WE'RE OVER! THIS IS THE LAST STRAW!"Akiara walked away from him in anger

Kyoya stood there in shock. Although he had a different family and childhood from Akiara, it doesn't give him the right to take it out on her, like he did for month... no even before Akiara became his girfriend Kyoya has been treating her badly. That slap really gave him some sense, but it was all too late
