This is the first time I'm writing a haiku so please bear with me and any sort of corrections and opinions are always welcome!
That being said, hope you enjoy!
■ E X E T E N D E D S U M M A R Y ■
-Haiku-
/ˈhʌɪkuː/ (noun) A Japanese poem/ verse of seventeen syllables, most often composed, in English versions, of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables.
This is a collection of FIVE 'haikus' based on certain norms and beliefs of society. Basically, a depiction of the stereotypical society, just in the form of haikus.
Each day, we face a number of issues. Each day, we crib about almost every aspect of our life. Each day, we whine about how our problems just never seem to cease. But what we don't realise is that majority of these so-called 'problems' are all in our head. We continuously think about the opinions of other people (society) around us and fail to be happy even when life gives us a chance.
So, its time that we oppose this 'society', that we believe in ourselves and more importantly, its time that we start finding happiness and satisfaction in the small yet crucial moments of life! " It's not a long read But would mean the world to me Do this much for me? "
