It was chaos, the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse war, death, fury, and strife rode against their nephalim brothers slaughtering them death collecting their souls in a special amulet.
In the carnage a small boy only about 6 at the time ran away from the battle trying to escape his death, this boy was a nephalim and the son of war.
The boy continued to run as fast as he possibly could he could hear the sound of hooves hitting the ground as he was being chased by one of the 4.
The horse was gaining on the boy quickly but the boy refused to give up he continued to run across the field to a tall tree ahead of him, he climbed it and reached the top as war on his horse reached the base of the tree
War cut down the tree with one swift swing of his blade. The tree fell and so did the boy, he tried to crawl away but war flipped him over and planted his foot on the boys legs to prevent him from getting away.
War: I am sorry son
A single tear rolled down war's cheek as he stabbed the boy in the sthomach. Not being able to stand the sight of what he had done war turned around and went to meet up with the other horsemen. But little did war know that his son was not dead.
The boy used what strength he had left to crawl away from the battlefield and using what little knowledge he had he patched up his wounds
Meanwhile
War fury death and strife kneeled in front of the charred council war still had tears streaming down his face, death placed a hand on war's shoulder.
Death: I am sorry you had to do that brother
War: I would rather me do it than you, I just wish it didnt have to happen
One of the heads of the charred council finally spoke
Head1: war we understand what you had to do was hard but in the end it helps maintain the balance
War sighed
War: I know
Head2: we understand that you likely would rather not discuss it further with that you 4 are dismissed
