With Christmas came Christmas cards. And with Tony's new sudden need to be married right this second, Loki was also in charge of wedding invitations. Luckily for her, because they still lived in the tower she didn't have to create so many of both. The Christmas cards she had made personalized (as every card should be) with pictures of her and Tony dating back from the summer plus pictures of Tony with Peter, Peter with Loki, or all three. She loved the cards dearly and couldn't wait for everyone to receive them.

As for wedding invitations, a lot had to go into those.

First the two had to pick a day, then guests, then a format for the invitations. Honestly, what was Tony thinking? And Loki allowed him to do this?! What was she thinking?

Loki forced Tony down at the table the next day--while Steve and Natasha were putting up some of the decorations--and made him help her put together invites. He initially rolled his eyes and groaned, telling her to do it by herself. When a sharp look got turned on him with the subtle threat of pulling a knife out, Tony shut his mouth, nodded, and started helping her. The sharp look turned into a cheery smile as she laid out different styles of invitations they could have.

"I quite like the pastels but if you have a different preference I'm sure we can get that design in pastel colors as well," she admitted, her gaze cast down at the patterns. Tony smiled softly, his gaze fixed on Loki. "I just. . ." She sighed. "I'm kinda sick of darker colors, you know?" It was then Tony realized the soft pastel red coloring of her shirt and white skinny jeans she was wearing. "So if we went with a pastel blue it would fit both lighter colors and the season of winter. Because we are not having a Christmas wedding."

Tony nodded. "Whatever you like best, Lokes," he told her. She raised an eyebrow. "I don't care about the semantics. I just want to be married to you." She smiled, her shoulders relaxing. He leaned over the table to kiss her, his fingers brushing through her hair. Her smile grew. "So let's go with the pastel blue."

She quickly pushed the rest away, focusing on the chosen one. "Date?"

"Sure, where do you wanna go?" Tony countered. Loki's brow furrowed as she glanced up to Tony before she rolled her eyes and laughed a little.

"I meant a wedding date. Not an actual date."

Tony's expression dropped. "Oh." Loki continued laughing. "Okay. You don't want a Christmas wedding." Loki shook her head. "And I'm assuming you don't want a wedding on Christmas Eve either?" She smiled and shook her head again. Tony nodded. "What about the twenty-third?" Loki shot him a look. "What? That wasn't a limitation I was given." Loki rolled her eyes.

"Fine," she relented. "Fine! I suppose our wedding is now December twenty-third." Tony smiled softly. "Okay. Pattern? Check. Date? Check," she muttered to herself. Tony rested his face against his hand, eyes trained on Loki. "Now what?" She ran her fingers through her hair while she thought. "Guests! Who are we inviting? Besides the obvious of course." Tony laughed gently.

"Are we going to give them an actual invite though?" Loki shrugged. "We probably should." She nodded. "So that's. . ." He started counting on his fingers. "Ten?" She raised an eyebrow. "Okay. I can't count. Let's see, we've got Steve, Bucky, Natasha, Wanda, Clint, Pietro, Bruce, Thor, Sam, Pete. Yeah. Ten." Loki nodded. "Then Happy, Pepper, Rhodey, your mother. So fourteen?" Loki nodded again.

"What about May?"

They both glanced to each other, lips pressed together.

"Yeah, send her an invite just for sentimental reasons."

Loki nodded. "Are we going to have a bridal party before I start making invitations?"

Tony shook his head. "No. We can live with just a best man and maid of honor." Loki nodded as she started filling out the first invitation with a small smile on her face. Tony spent a few seconds just to admire her beauty as she wrote out their names in her pretty calligraphy. Breaking out of his trance, he grabbed a few invitations and a pen before he started filling them out as well. "Do you think I can ask Pete to be my best man?" he asked quietly. Loki glanced up before placing her hand over his.

"Of course you can, Anthony. Peter is your own son, why wouldn't you be able to?"

Tony sighed and looked to his lap. "But would he agree to it?"

Loki smiled softly, sensing Tony's dampened mood and worry. It lasted all of a second before she smacked him upside the head. Tony let out a cry of pain and started rubbing his head.

"Anthony! Only a fool would think that boy did not love you!" she exclaimed. Tony raised an eyebrow. "Peter adored you much before he found out he was your flesh and blood and he will continue to adore you as such now that he knows. You are not going to sit here thinking he would not accept, you twit!" Tony stared at her before he started laughing.

"Gee, thanks Reindeer Games." Loki huffed and crossed her arms. "I think. I'm not quite sure if there was an actual compliment in there or not." She rolled her eyes. They both returned to their work--Loki a bit more bothered than before. A few moments passed before Tony said, "Thank you. And I mean it this time." Loki glanced to him before sighing and smiling.

"Never doubt that boy's love for you again. It is the truest love I have ever seen."

Tony nodded; he wasn't quite sure what she meant but he knew better than to ask Loki about her word choice. She was sophisticated and proper--she wouldn't dumb herself down so an acclaimed genius could understand her. The last time he had asked her about what she meant, she threw the dictionary at him and told him to figure it out on his own.

When all of the cards were done, the couple grabbed mugs of hot chocolate and joined Wanda and Bucky on the couch; Natasha and Steve were still setting up some of the decorations while their significant others watched holiday movies. Tony, stealthily, swiped his finger through Loki's whipped cream and rubbed it off on her nose. Her eyes widened, a long gasp escaping from her lips, before narrowing in on Tony. He chuckled and kissed the whipped cream off. Loki smirked before whisking a can of whipped cream into her hand and spraying it atop Tony's head. His eyes widened and his mouth fell open. She started giggling before Tony rudely shook the whipped cream off his hair and onto her lap. Poofing up napkins, Loki carefully set her mug of hot cocoa onto the coffee table in front of them and began wiping down her pants.

"Anthony Edward Stark, you will regret your actions of the past five minutes," she threatened. Tony rolled his eyes and took a sip from his perfectly innocent mug. She looked up and glared at him, waving her hand to make the napkins disappear. With a small glare which almost mirrored a pouting child, Loki approached Tony on the couch and straddled him, her fingers playing with the collar of his shirt.

"Is this how I'm going to regret everything?" he joked. Loki smirked before yanking the collar down, bringing Tony along with it. He spluttered, gasping for breath.

"I know several different way to kill my enemies," she began, her voice dangerously low. "There is one technique I learned ages ago that will have you dying a slow but painful death for days. I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy." Tony swallowed thickly. "Do what you just did to me again," she leaned in closer to his ear as if she were going to kiss him, "and they will fail to find your body." Eyes wide, Tony attempted to pull away as he nodded rapidly. Loki smiled brightly and gave him kiss.

"Oi! Get a room you two!" Bucky shouted. Of course he had only noticed the whipped cream war and the kiss. Tony blinked a few times, regaining his composure. Loki laughed sweetly and acted as if nothing happened.

"Technically this is our room, James," she remarked. Wanda snorted. "In fact. This whole tower is our room."

Bucky couldn't form a good comeback; he only managed 'uh's and 'well's. Loki smiled triumphantly and--after grabbing her hot chocolate because Tony be damned, she was going to drink it--curled up next to Tony. He hesitantly wrapped his arm around her and took another sip from his mug.

"Remind me never to mess with you again," Tony mumbled. Loki nuzzled deeper into his side and laughed.

"My sweet Anthony. You will not need remembrance for you will never succeed in messing with me again."
