“I’m Only Me When I’m With You” is the twelfth song from the bonus track version of Taylor’s debut eponymous album, Taylor Swift.
The song is about Taylor and her best friend Abigail Anderson. It speaks volumes of how they know each other so well and feel free to be themselves when they are together. The video features Abigail and other of Swift’s friends and family. It has a laid-back setting and shows a more family oriented side of her.
Even though the song is about Abigail, the video implies that she loves her family deeply, and would be nothing without them.
