Nico slipped a note next to the girl beside him in Herbology. Iris rose an eyebrow as she opened it, Nico's script filling the parchment, with some wrong spellings here and there. But she could cope.

Slipping her wand out from under her, ignoring Professor Sprout's speech about plants. The girl waved it in which Flitwick had taught her to translate the writing.

The girl smirked when she read the message in Greek.

Meet me on the forbidden third floor corridor
-Nico

Happily she crumpled the message and threw it into her pockets, before she picked up his quill and wrote on his piece of paper.

Iris rolled in her bedsheets. After an afternoon of mischief of switching the colors of people's robes. Not that Ka minded having bright yellow robes for a day.

She tried to hold in her giggles as she lifted her feet off the bed and onto the stone cold floor. The girl hissed like a cat and quickly pulled them back up. Only to bend down, her body half off the bed as she pulled socks out of her luggage.

Slipping them on she ran and slid across the floor, testing if they were silent enough. Taking a quick glance at her sleeping dorm mates, she opened the door that held their names down in gold font.

She pressed the door to its frame, listening for any creaks it may have made before listening for the soft click. With another grin Iris ran down the hallway, red hair flopping all over the place wildly. The girl slid against the stone before stopping at the edge of the stairs, almost falling down.

Iris held out her arms, swinging them to hold her balance. Tipping back on to her heels to be back on her feet she ran down the stairs.

The common room was quiet and void of any life, the giant statue of Rowena Ravenclaw was lifeless. But it still felt like the woman was peering down curiously down on her.

The books were littered on the floor occasionally, stacks upon stacks of them as Iris tiptoed around them. From what she can see someone left their homework on one of the tables. Iris rolled her eyes at the foolishness, but still looked down on the parchment for a name, hoping it wasn't hers. Just incase she told herself.

Slipping out the door of the Ravenclaw tower was easy. The bronze eagle knocker was fast asleep. Not conscious enough to make any riddles or try to deter her from sneaking out.

The ring that hung around her neck gave her confidence as the shadows bended around her. Shivering, she looked both ways, trying to see if any of the prefects or professors were patrolling for any mischievous students. Also know as, her.

Iris tiptoed down the corridor, keeping her body weight low as she hugged the wall. A hand being constant on the ring around her neck. The girl hissed every time she saw something move, but reminded herself that it was late. Too late for this. Taking a deep breath, she looked both ways before sprinting across the hallway.

To an outsider the movement was quick, almost as if someone used the moonlight to dance across the space, lifting them into the air.

But to Iris it felt as if she were a ninja on a super secret mission. The girl grinned as she hugged the floor instinctively. Down the hallway she could see Nico waiting near the door.

Right as she was going to sprint across once more a voice interrupted her movement. "Ah an ickle firstie. In the forbidden corridor. What would Dumbledore think of a student out of bed on a night such as this?" Red hair whipped around, their owner looked up at the poltergeist, Peeves.

Instead of showing fear the girl stood straighter and looked at the spirit in his eyes. "Peeves, pleasure to meet you." She smirked. Peeves scowled, not liking the reaction she was given.

The stare down was intense as Peeves could feel his essence, his being sucked in. It felt like she was feeding off of his energy instead of the other way around. Peeves backed away hissing. "What are you." A glare on his face.

Iris smirked before taking a deep breath. "Iris Evans Stoll. Daughter of Hermes."

"What took you so long?" Nico asked, his head titled to the side like a puppy. Iris resisted the urge to pat his head and pull at his cheeks.

"Ah," the girl faked a blush of embarrassment. "I almost ran into a prefect so I took the long way 'round." Nico shrugged before pushing himself against the wall. Iris took notice of how the shadows seemed to want to pull him into them. Almost as if they were searching for comfort. "Anyway, what did you want to show me?"

Nico grinned and pointed at the lock. "Alohomora." With a flick of his wand the lock came undone. Iris rose an eyebrow at the spell, seeing as they haven't even learned it yet. "My sister had been teaching me spells in our free time. She wants me to be better than her when she was a first year." Iris nodded, understanding the fact since she practically took both Stoll brothers under her wing when they arrived at camp. Even if they were older than her.

He dragged the girl in, making a show of closing the door silently, letting the lock click. "I was talking to Draco about some good dueling spots, and I told him I'd look around." He fiddled with the door a little while, making sure it was secure. "I told him I'd look around and so," he grinned turning the girl around. "I found him."

The he was a giant three headed dog, looking at them curiously. "IS THAT CERBERUS?" The girl yelled, though it was muffled seeing as Nico had slapped his hand across her mouth when the first syllable had been uttered.

"No." Nico frowned. "His name is Spot." The girl turned to glare at the boy.

"He doesn't have any spots on him."

"Doesn't matter."

Iris moved foreword with her hands outward. The heads looking at her curiously before one snarled. It's acidic drool burning away at the wood. Nico shoved the girl out of the way slightly. Walking confidently towards him.

"There, there." He said patting the dogs nose. "Iris is a friend. She's a good girl." The red head barely contained her snort before Nico reached out and clasped her wrist.

All six eyes seemed to stare as Nico brought her hand on his snout. "See. A good girl."

Iris rolled her eyes, along with Spot. But he didn't shake her off. So she took that as a good sign.
