Kevin Skaff of A Day To Remember

~ Vannessa's POV ~

I sat in the back lounge, a speaker blaring some playlist of mine on spotify as I sorted through all the merch that was left.

I'd been touring with A Day To Remember as their merch girl for about two weeks now. Everybody had the day off.

The whole band had gone out to explore but I'd decided on staying back to get some stuff done and just have time to myself.

It was hard being one of the only girls in a tour bus full of goofball guys.

Don't get me wrong, they were great. There was never a dull moment and they were a very good looking group of guys, especially Kevin. He was so kind and very talented. I was just a stupid merch girl though and he probably had a girl waiting for him back home.

My thoughts wandered as I separated the shirts into design and size, humming mindlessly to whatever song was currently playing.

I'd just finished the second box so I got up to go bring the third one over when one of my favorite songs came on. It was called ' So High ' by an artist known as Baby Goth. I loved her music.

I don't really smoke a whole lot or do any other drugs for that matter I just like her style and sound.

I turned the volume up a bit and figured it couldn't hurt to have a small dance party with myself since nobody else was here.

~ Kevin's POV ~

I headed back to the bus, wanting to grab a sweatshirt since it was kind of chilly in the city we were playing today.

Thinking the bus was empty, I open the door and walk up the steps. I'm greeted by music playing from the lounge. A little confused, I decided to investigate, forgetting about my sweatshirt.

I walk through the bunk area and up to the curtain, pushing it aside slightly.

I saw our merch girl, Vanessa, dancing around to the music in a slightly seductive way. I couldn't help but give a silent chuckle.

She was very pretty and also very sweet, I'd been meaning to ask her to go out for a little while now.

I doubt she sees me like that though unfortunately.

I watched her dance for a little longer, biting my lip as I smiled softly. She had on a Knocked Loose shirt, we were touring with them, and some black shorts that fit her nicely. Her dark hair swayed mesmerizingly as she danced.

I knew I couldn't stand here like a creep forever so I pushed the curtain back all the way, figuring she'd notice me standing there.

Nope. She was lost in her own little world and I couldn't help but to smile.

" Ahem." I gave a fake but soft cough, crossing my arms and leaning against the door frame.

She seemed to jump, holding a hand over her heart. " My god. You can't scare me like that, Kevin." She pouted.

" How else was I supposed to get your attention?" I grinned taking a couple steps into the room. " You've got some nice moves. "

I watched her face turn red as she stopped the music.  " You...you saw me dancing?" She quietly asked.

I gave a nod, smirking " It was a very entertaining show. "

My comment only made her blush darker. Gosh was she adorable like this.

" Well, I've officially embarrassed myself to death. " she took off her lanyard, handing it to me. " My funeral is in an hour, you'll have to find a new merch girl."

I chuckled, grinning " Very funny but you're stuck with us."

I pulled her into a kind of backwards hug, almost looking like a chokehold but it wasn't. " I'm never going to let you live this down. " I told her.

She looked up at me.

" It can stay between you and me on one condition though."

" Oh yeah? What would that be?" She rose a brow.

" You go one a date with me." I grinned.

" I don't know, I don't think I really wanna catch stupid disease."

I let go of her, giving a mock look of hurt. She giggled, turning to face me.

" I'm kidding, I'd love to go one a date with you." She smiled.

" Awesome! Oh, and you'll totally have to teach me those dance moves. " We both laughed.

A/n: alright my dudes, lemme know what you guys think of this type of book. It just allows me to be more creative and not have to stick to a single band. I still can't promise it will be updated often but we shall see.
