I WAS PROUD OF HIM, of course. The smile that playfully sat on his face. And the way he fidgets after he finished the song. The way he looked around the room to see the approval of others, he did well.
When we walked out of the auditorium, Nini chased us down, arguing with Ricky. So Big Red and I decided to leave them alone for a bit. We walked around the halls again, waiting for a call from Ricky.
"How have you not fallen for Ricky? Years of friendship?" Big Red suddenly starts conversation, bringing up the question I refused to answer for him. He always asked and I hated it, it was a stupid question. I roll my eyes. Of course, Big Red is one of my closest friends. But we hated each other, type of close friends.
"Shut it, Red Head. Been over this. Countless of times, actually." I hiss at him as he throws his hand up in defense.
"You think they're done arguing?" He asked as I chuckle.
