"GO HOME?" A scoff escapes his lips and my eyes close in regret. I stand up, my hand on my forehead, repeating what just happened, "What- What? I'm so confused." He sits back, and I turned to look at him, a hurt expression on his face.
"Ricky, you don't know what you just did." I tell him and his eyes shot up at me.
"I know what I did." He says weakly.
"No," I softly say and he raised an eyebrow. "You just feel vulnerable and you- you thought kissing me would make you happy." I explain, sitting back down.
"It made me happy." He says and I shake my head.
"I- Ricky," He looks at me. "When my parents told me they were getting a divorce, um, I tried so many things to distract and make me feel less sad," His facial expressions softened and I sigh loudly. "It worked for a little bit, y'know? But after that, I regretted a lot of things I felt and did." I explain.
