Being a hero is a choice. It is never about the things that we fight for, or ideas of what we believe is right. Being a hero is choosing to lose for the sake of others. It chooses to do good even in the midst of darkness. It chooses to hope, even in times of despair. It chooses to believe, even though everyone doubts.
We all have storms to face. We are all destined to be broken, to be betrayed, to lose someone, and to get lost at some point in our journey. Regardless of who you are, we are all destined to stare evil face-to-face. But your choice in the aftermath, how you choose to feel and act, will determine if you are a hero.
