At pride rock
Simba was sitting at the edge of pride rock over looking the lands and watching the sun set until he heard a voice
Nala : i thought that i would find you here what are you doing
Simba : just watching the sun set it looks peaceful
Nala : ill join you
Together they both sat ant the edger when a panicking cheetah ran up pride rock with rafiki on her back not long behind was the rest of the guard carrying kion
Nala : no my baby she said while sobbing
Simba: what happened sounding concerned
So fuli and the guard explained while rafiki was tending to his injuries
Rafiki : he will be fine he just needs rest
Thank you rafiki simba said
The rest of the guard was waiting to hear the news from rafiki one they got told they all went to rest.
The next day kion woke from his sleep and noticed that he was in pride rock so he stretched out then pain kick in along his back he let out a yelp simba and nala came running in and saw that he was in pain
Nala : kion i'm so glad that you're awake
Simba yes son we both happy
Kion me to but i'm a little sore
Simba: at least you're alive
Later that day the guard was waiting in the lair and then the king showed up
Simba kion is not awake yet so fuli i put you in charge of the lion guard.
Fuli me?
Simba Yes you
Fuli ok you're majesty
So simba left the guard to start there morning patrol. Simba returned to pride rock and told kion that he did as he requested
Simba : so what is the next part of your plan
Kion : ill leave the pride lands for around a year or so, because janja thinks i'm dead.
Simba: you're not leaving
Nala : kion there has to be a better plan than that
Kion : no i need to do this
Simba : fine but how would we tell the guard and the pride landers if you suddenly went missing
Kion : announce that i have died
Nala: you're not even telling your friends that you're leaving you're just telling them all that you're dead
Kion: yes i'm telling that i'm dead because if they knew the plan would be ruined
Simba: ok son
And they left the den slowly walking up to the tip of pride rock simba pretend to hold back tears and called zazu to round up the pridelanders for an announcement
