Chapter 3 Part 3 A Solemn Run to the Mountains

3ed POV

The silence between the two tubbies was full of console with each other, it was nice. But they both knew that they need to go.

  "Come on (Y/n), we need to get to the Mountains." Walten said standing up along bringing (Y/n) with him. She only nod earning a small smile from Walten. "But, how long will it take for us to get through the mountains?" She said Walten as he made his way towards the tree. "It will be a half day walk, but if we hurry, we might make it to the cave that leads towards the ruins, then straight to the Satellite Station." He explained as he started to cut down the ropes that binds Po from the branch. He then gently lowers her to the ground with a soft thud. "But first, Po deserves to get out of these ropes." Walten continues as (Y/n) watches him removes the rope around her neck, revealing as it was slightly bloody and bruised. The skin was slightly pulled apart from the strain.

  Soft tears rolled down (Y/n)'s face onto Po's, also giving of the impression that she was crying. Upon closer inspection, her eyes were blood shot, like she was crying before she died.

  "Come on, let's go." Walten said, placing a hand on her shoulder before letting it slide down her arm to her hand. He didn't need to hear a yes, but a nod. They both then started to walk, not before (Y/n) turned her head towards her fallen friend. 'I am so sorry Po. I promise I will make everything right.' She thought as Walten and her walked into the night.

It didn't take them long to find they were not alone as they left the tree, because as they finally saw the silhouettes of mountain peaks, they stopped abruptly by a lone figure blocking their path. Tinky Winky, with a custard in hand.

  Walten lowly growled at him, barring his teeth at him, along placing a protective arm in front of (Y/n). "Tinky Winky, please snap out of it! This isn't you!" (Y/n) pleaded.

  Tinky Winky slightly flinched before a wicked smile crossed his face. "This IS me, (N/n) ((Nickname)). Just because I killed our friends doesn't mean I'm still the same Tinky Winky from before. Come now (Y/n), don't you want to give your friend a hug?" Tinky Winky said in a smooth but disoriented voice. It still sounds like him, but the way he said it, along with the tone, it didn't.

  After a dence silence, Tinky Winky frowned and shook his head in disappointment as rain began to fall down. "Shame, I thought you would have at least give it a shot (N/n).....BuT I gUeSs Not!" Tinky Winky then gulped down the custard, starting the pair as Tinky Winky let out a deafening screech before it then got deeper.

  (Y/n) and Walten watched in terror and disbelief as they saw Tinky Winky begin to grow in size. Walten continue to keep his protective posture while (Y/n)'s tear up at he sight of her friend.
When the transformation finished, Tinky Winky let out a roar at the pair.

  "RUN!" Walten screamed as he grabbed (Y/n)'s hand and ran the opposite direction. The two of them ran and ran until Tinky Winky was out of sight. "We need hide, quick!" Walten said eyeing a large boulder that was surrounded with bushes and shrubs. Immediately, they hid behind them. Walten toke off his hat and set it on the ground before ducking with (Y/n) as they hear large footsteps coming near their direction.

  "I KNOW YOU'RE HERE. COME OUT, COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE, (Y/N)" Tinky Winky said in a deeper disoriented voice, sending cold chills down their backs as he continues to call out. "YOU MAY RUN, BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE FROM ME. YOU KNOW DARN WELL THAT I WILL FIND YOU." It took a while for the pair to hear the distant footsteps walking away from them.
