"Ok Barbara, I'm heading out, I'll see you in a bit" I tell her as I stroke her. It was only Barbara and I that live here and it felt so lonely so I decided to head out to the adoption centre. I've always wanted to adopt even if I was with someone, I've always thought about adopting so today is the day where I get to go look around. I hop in my car and make my way there.
"Hello, I'm Rhett McLaughlin" I greet the woman that met up with me at the centre.
"Hello Rhett, nice to meet you, I'm Ebony" we shake hands.
"Are you looking for a certain age? Gender? Capability?" She asks.
"I'm looking for a child between the ages of newborn to two, maybe three but other than that, I'm happy with whatever they look like and all that" I smile at her. I try not to look so nervous and keep it cool so I don't say anything stupid. She takes me to a room full of cute, little babies and toddlers. I soon spot a little boy being changed into some clothes and brought out. He wore a blue and grey Tigger bodysuit, a pair to bluey/grey tiger footed trousers and some blue and white car scratch mittens.

"I know you're hungry, sweet boy, we'll get you something to eat in just a sec" the woman coos at him as he sobbed his heart out.
"Who's he?" I ask Ebony.
"That is little Link, he's real small for a one month old, that's why we call him little Link" she explains.
"Is his actual name Link or is it shortened for something?"
