Happy Fourth of December! I hope that all of you are having a good day. As I am writing this chapter now, I am ill and I am literally trying so hard to write because I want to make sure that I keep on uploading everyday as I said... I really hope that all of you are liking this story.

"How can I help you?" I asked after I gathered all of my courage. Somehow, I felt like he could see that I was nervous to see him back.

"I wanted to apologise for my behaviour of yesterday." He spoke out as he was looking at me. I blinked a few times without really knowing how to respond back. I was working and if my manager would hear this, she would probably kick me out.

"It is okay." I said as I looked at him. I just hoped he would let it go without apologising or explaining himself again...

"I am really sorry. How I responded towards you was really unfair. I promise I wouldn't do it again and I also hope that your finger is healing properly." He said and somehow I could see that he meant what he was saying.

The same angry eyes of yesterday were not here anymore. His eyes were now soft and to be honest, it looked like he was an angel. Like he had no clue of any harsh or breakable words that would hurt someone else's feelings. He looked so innocent.

"It is really okay. Everything is already forgotten." I said and he smiled.

"Then I perhaps want to make a order." He said and I nodded with a smile.

"Can I have a cappuccino?" He asked. He was ordering the same thing again. I nodded and he already gave me the money.

"Please keep the change." He said and I smiled.

"To which table should I bring it too?" I asked and he just shook his head.

"I will be waiting and collecting it." He said and I gave him a small smile. I made his cappuccino and gave it to him.

"Can you please write down my name?" He asked and for a second, I looked at him in shock. I thought that he wanted me to write down his name on paper so I would remember it but soon I realised that he meant on his coffee.

What is wrong with you Hazel?

"Sure. What is your name?" I asked and I saw a sly smirk appearing on his face. At that time I saw Rose walking back and I saw her looking at me in confusion. I guess now she was nervous for me.

"Matthew." He said and I smiled. I wrote down his name on his coffee with difficulty as it was hot.

So Matthew was his name...

"Thank you, Hazel." He said and confused I looked at him but then realised that my name was written on a label that was hanging on my t-shirt. Everyone could have known my name. So did he now... Not that it was important or something.

Matthew smiled at me before leaving the till and sitting behind a table to enjoy his coffee. I heard Rose clearing her throat.

"What?" I asked confused as she kept on staring at me. I don't know what she wanted from me. Was it a thank you for bringing my stuff at the back or was she eager to know what was going on here.

"He wanted you to know his name." Rose said and I laughed.

"He is not the first one to ask if his name can be written on his coffee cup." I said and I saw Rose rolling her eyes.

"Are you kidding me?" She asked and she shook her head. I sighed. I knew that she was going to give me a whole speech about this. I don't know whether I wanted to listen to this or not. She could have a strong opinion at sometimes.

"He clearly knew your name and he wanted to let you know his name. It was obvious, Hazel." Rose said but I didn't see what she meant. I mean, he apologised because he thought that he was wrong and to be honest, I was glad he did.

I didn't want to make a bad guy of him and always be nervous when he would come and order. Now he made everything easier for himself and me. I call that respect. It looks like he does know what it is and how to take it into account when it comes to other people.

"I just don't see it. Why would he want that?" I asked confused and Rose sighed out of annoyance. Sometimes, I felt like if she was allowed to slap me at work, she would. I think I work on her nerves when I don't understand something I should be understanding in her opinion.

"Because he is interested in you." Rose said and if she could shout at me now, she would have. I could see how annoyed she was with me and I did not appreciate it but then again I did not want to be annoyed at her because I did not want to lose my only friend...

People tend to walk out of my life... I don't know how I would react if I would lose Rose too.

"What? No. Come on, Rose. He doesn't even know me." I said as I looked at Matthew. He was having his coffee and was going through his phone. I was glad that he wasn't looking up. He would probably think that we were crazy people.

"Well, that's why he is interested in you. He wants to get to know you. You are such an idiot. Didn't you ever date someone?" She asked a bit annoyed and I fell quiet. I blinked a few times and looked at her.

"No, never. No one was really ever interested in me. So I hope you can see why I think that he isn't either." I said and I could see Rose feeling guilty for what she had just said to me.

"Come on, we have to work." I said and Rose just nodded. I knew she was just as a awkward person as me. I knew she wanted to apologise but she didn't have too. She didn't really knew and I knew she wanted to help me. Her intentions were good and pure.

Matthew stood up and before he left, he looked at me. He smiled and waved - and so did I. He left smiling the coffee shop and when I looked besides me, Rose gave me that look.

It could be just a friends too... I didn't want to put my hopes high, knowing that it might be nothing...
