Our dance was suddenly interrupted by a villain attack.
"Seriously, when do they quit?!" I just realized Max said that at the same time as me.
"Jinx!"
"Double jinx!"
"Go!"
Max then ran to fight, and I ran behind the building to transform.
"STAR PENDANT POWER, ACTIVATE!"
Still nothing...
"STAR PENDANT POWER, ACTIVATE!"
UGH!
I then felt a dark presence behind me.
But right as I turn around to face it, everything goes dark.
And there's a stinging pain all over...
???'s P.O.V.
I slashed Lady Willow's true identity with my Spirit Vanquisher... and she then collapsed to the ground.
"She's a lot weaker without her powers," I commented. I put away the Spirit Vanquisher and left.
Max's P.O.V.
After the battle, I began to look for Maddie. She'd never be too far from the battle sight.
I then see her on the ground behind the building.
"Maddie!" I ran to her and got down on the ground. "Please tell me you're still alive... please..."
She coughed and slowly woke up.
"M...max...?"
"Maddie! Are you okay? What happened?"
"I... only remember... something hitting me... it was sharp..."
I then noticed that she had been cut in multiple places...
But the blood that had surfaced had gold flecks in it...
What...?
Serenity's P.O.V.
I see Max run behind the building, as if searching for someone.
So I follow him.
And I see him panicking about a girl on the ground, knocked out...
It's that Maddie girl!
She seems to be wounded...
But then I noticed her necklace...
Why does it seem so familiar...?

Serenity's on to Maddie! And what's up with Maddie's wounds? Why is she still alive after being slashed with a SPIRIT VANQUISHER?!
