Chapter 26: Part 1

Tom's POV:
I hung up the phone after talking to Y/N. I'm glad the both of us got everything off our chest's. I know that I hurt her bad, & I know we are going to try & fix things & hopefully get back to where we were, but I know it's gonna take a lot of time & hopefully she knows I truly acted like the real me.
Haz: "How'd the phone call go? I think I could hear Y/N through the phone."
T: "Haz?!" I say irritated at him. "She has a right to be mad at me. I completely left & didn't text or call her! I'm the biggest jerk! But we are gonna try to fix things even if that means just being friends even though I hate that."
Haz: "You really were a jerk, if I'm being honest with you mate..," he sighs before he starts speaking again, "because whenever you talked about Y/N in every way to me from her personality to her looks, I could see that you really truly cared for her...maybe even started to love her, & you ruined it." I stood there my head hanging low looking at the ground disappointed in myself.
T: "I know, & I hate to think that she didn't know that I truly cared & liked her a lot. A LOT A LOT! And maybe I am starting to fall for her. There's just something about her that made me always nervous & excited in a good way whenever I was around her. I miss that feeling."
Haz: "Are y'all gonna text & talk more?"
T: "Yah we are. Well I'm gonna try harder because I don't want to hurt Y/N again, but I just wish I had some time off from filming at least just for a night to go & see her."
Haz: "Yah I know...hopefully sooner or later you will get to. Maybe if you get done early today you could."
T: "Yah maybe!" I say excited. "Well let's go ahead & head to set so that maybe I can."
We drove over to where we were shooting today which was at Staten Island Ferry in NYC to do the Ferry/fight scene. I really wanted to get this shot quickly, but perfect because I really want to see Y/N. I know it probably-well most definitely effected Y/N more, but I felt really lonely. Yes I had my friends around me most of the time, but I felt lonely because Y/N wasn't there. I feel like most of the time I was either with Haz, Jacob, or even sometimes Zendaya, even though she would get annoyed with it sometimes, I would always talk about Y/N. She never left my mind ever. She was & is all I can think about. I really need to get her back no matter how long it takes or what I have to do. Because she means everything to me. I can't let her go. Not again. We got done filming pretty early around 5:00 & I was about to text Y/N just to check up on her, but then my phone rang. I didn't recognize the phone number so I decided to answer because you never know.
***CALL***
T: "Hello? Who is this?"
?: "Hey Tom, this is Zach." Crap! This isn't going to go over well.
T: "Hey Zach! I know why you're calling I just want-"
Z: "Yah," he sighs. "I was also calling for something else, but before that there are a few things I would like to say."
T: "Go ahead I deserve everything that's coming to me. I let Y/N down, & I broke my promise to you that I wouldn't hurt her & I did."
Z: "Yah you did break her! You have no idea! And I'm really disappointed in you. She was her full self around you, & it turned out you weren't, but Y/N has told Kate & I about your conversation with her & part of me believes that you were your full self besides some of the things you couldn't talk about, but that still doesn't ignore the fact that you left her with no explanation at all. No goodbye. No truth as to why until SHE called you."
T: "I know & I regret not telling her who I was sooner. There was so many times I wanted to, but I didn't, & I'm disappointed in myself for hurting Y/N. I never wanted this to happen."
Z: "And I know you didn't mean to because I see the way you looked at her, the way she looked at you. Y'all had a connection that I thought could never break, but it did, but I want to help the both of you get that connection back."
T: "REALLY?!" I was in shock. Was Zach really helping me?
Z: "Yah she really needs you right now. She hasn't been herself ever since you left & Kate & I & her mom especially are worried about her. She needs you right now Tom. She needs the REAL YOU right here next to her to pick her back up."
T: "GOSH! What happened?!"
Z: "I'll leave her to tell you that. But I was thinking if you had time could you come and surprise Y/N if you have a day off from filming or at least at night."
T: "Yah I actually got done with filming for the day, & I'm in NYC right now & heading back to the hotel now. Do you have any ideas on how I could surprise her?"
Z: "No I don't know."
T: "Are you wanting me to come & see her tonight or tomorrow?"
Z: "No she can't do it tonight because Y/N is helping Kate get ready for a fake blind date tonight."
T: "What?! Why?!" I laugh.
Z: "Well it's a long story but Kate was trying to get your contact off Y/N's phone to send to me & she had to lie & say she was excited because she screamed when it sent to me & said she was going on date tonight & Y/N wanted to help Kate get ready." We both laugh. Poor Kate.
T: "WAIT!! I have a great idea!!"
Z: "What?! What is it?!"
T: "What if you text Kate & tell her that this could be a double blind date, & I could be Y/N's blind date & you could be Kate's fake blind date? That could be the surprise!"
Z: "YESS!!! That's a brilliant idea! Ok I'll text Kate & tell her to tell Y/N to get ready too. I'll text you later with the plans. And you & Y/N can do something after just the two of y'all, but Kate & I will probably leave y'all to eat alone."
T: "Thanks Zach, thanks for giving me a second chance."
Z: "Just don't let me regret giving you a second chance. Ok? You really do mean a lot to her."
T: "You won't regret it!"
