Reader's POV

I was walking around the demon slayer corps because i was bored and oyakata-san hasn't given me a mission yet.

this is the third time that i walked around in circles but a certain someone caught my attention, it's him

i started fixing myself before walking towards muichiro, that's right i liked him since we were kids

yes, we are childhood friends and we both promised that we will become demon slayers together, with his twin of course.

but after his twin died from the final selection he had lost his memory but i was determined to bring it back

"Tokito-kun!" i called out to him as i walked towards him

he seems to notice me and look at my direction

"Who are you" he said bluntly, I sweatdropped at this, because everytime i told him my name he would have forget it anyways

"Well, I'm y/n and i'm your childhood friend" i said to him for the tenth time

"..." he didn't even uttered a single word and cotinue to do what he was doing and ignore me like i was a nobody to him

i heaved a sigh and walked away from him

Muichiro's POV

i heard her sigh as she began to walk away, i felt kinda bad for pretending not to remember her, i thought if i ignored her and pretend that i lost my memories would lessen the pain of my twin's death and the time when she was blaming herself because she couldn't protect him

well i think it's time that i should stop pretending and apologize to her.

it's now or never

Reader's POV

i sat under the tree while continuely sighing, i was so determined and here i am giving up.

i looked down and notice that it suddenky became dark

"Who turned off the lights?" i said as i look up only to see muichiro

"hey.." he said as he awkwardly scratched the back of his neck and his cheeks has a pink tint spreading across

"Hey? what's up muichiro?" i greeted him, more like questioning him, i heard him sigh and kneeled to my level

"look, i'm sorry if i pretended like i didn't know you" he said as i can feel myself tear up

"Stupid....Stupid! stupid!" i said as i hit his chest not that hard, he hugged me as he let me hit his chest

"i'm sorry.." he sincerely said as he hugged me tightly not wanting to let go

"you know how determined i was ti bring your memory back" i said as i hugged him back, my tears was now dry as i laugh

"I know you'll come around!" i said as i pulled away from the hug.

"but i have to tell you something" i said again and this time i held his hand, i stare into his sky eyes

"I..Like you" i said and avoided eye contact, i heard him chuckled and cupped my face with his two hands

"i like you too" he said as he kissed me passionately before pulling away

i blushed like crazy but he cleared his throat and looked puzzled again

"by the way, i've been meaning to ask you" he said as he gotten serious.

He's gonna ask me to be his girlfriend!
