3rd POV
Y/N stood at the helipad where the Bullhead landed, a lot of students walking on with large and small cases, along with suitcases.
Y/N: knew I forgot something....shopping after today.
He walked into the bullhead and closed the door behind him.
Pilot: this is your pilot speaking, we would highly recommend you sitting down until we start moving forward. The ascension can be a little rough.
The propellers began to turn on the Bullhead as it went to take off. Y/N say down and put an ear piece in his ear.
Y/N: hey Kvöl
Y/N POV
A blue spirit appeared next to me, sitting.
Kvöl: what do you need Y/N?
Me: just needed to talk.
Kvöl: thought you didn't want much to do with me, I mean after all, you stopped dominating.
Me: there's reasons for everything.
Kvöl: I know your reasoning, it's easy to read you. So you're planning to do what your semblance now?
Me: I'm hoping nothing, just hoping to use Hurricane's Hook.
Kvöl: your name for your weapon is weak. Perhaps you should think on it more.
Me: what was your weapon's name then if you are so good at names?
Kvöl: RageSpike.
Me: that's honestly not bad.
The bullhead landed at Beacon.
Kvöl: I'll be watching you Y/N, don't do anything stupid.
Me: you know me better than that.
Kvöl: best of luck.
He disappeared from my sight as I looked around. I stood up and grabbed my case and walked out of the Bullhead with the other students.
Me: well....this isn't bad at all.
I then heard an explosion in the distance.
Me: and that's where it begins.
I looked to see....hold up....is that Weiss Schnee? I honestly would've thought she would be the queen of Altas for something, especially if Jacques is in control....alright now I'm interested as to find out why she's here.
I continued walking towards Beacon and opened the door with Weiss Schnee shoving past me.
Kvöl: she seems to be in a rather angry mood.
Me: she does....let's go see why.
I walked into the massive room to see a man with gray hair standing on a stage, with a blonde female.
Glynda: I will now introduce you to Professor Ozpin, the headmaster of Beacon.
Ozpin walked over to the mic as Glynda moved to the side.
Ozpin: I'll...keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge--to hone your craft and acquire new skills. And when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose – direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step.
Me: well....that could've gone on longer.
?????: well look who it is.
I turned around to see a pair of brown eyes looking at me.
Me: Velvet?
Velvet: Hey Y/N!
She quickly wrapped her arms around, as I did with her.
Me: I haven't seen you in.....a year already?
Velvet: I needed to get away from Atlas. My father wanted me to have a better life.
Me: I can see you're doing better with your life already, you aren't dirty from the mines, or covered in bruises, and your hair is long! I remember you having hair no longer than your jaw.
Velvet: could I show you around before initiation? I mean it'll take time to figure out the place.
Me: yeah! Sure!
Velvet: I'll grab my team, we'll help you out.
Me: team?
Kvöl: oh this is going to be fun.
Velvet: hey Kvöl.
Kvöl: good to see you Velvet.
