Stay Away From-

Maya's POV:
I feel so bad.
Riley's my best friend.
"Can we finish early so I can talk with her before she falls asleep." I ask.
"Sure. When you want to leave you can" he says.
"Thank You." I say.
"For what?" He says confused.
"Understanding, letting me leave our date whenever so I can talk to my friend." I say.
"No problem then." He says.
We eat then I leave.
"See you tomorrow" I say as I put on my coat.
"Bye Maya" he says, watching me leave.
-at the Matthews house-
"Riley please talk to me" I say.
No answer.
"Please"
No answer.
"I'm going to find my way in"
No answer.
"Please"
"Stay away from-" she said getting quieter I couldn't get her last word.
"Stay away from what?" I say.
No answer.
"Goodnight" I say.
No answer.
I leave the house and go to my apartment.
No one's here again.
I pull out my phone.
"Hey" I say.
"Yeah"
"Come over"
"Why"
"I'll tell you when you get here"
A few minutes later the doorbell rings.
I open it and hug him without looking.
"I need a friend." I say as a tear falls down my face.
"What happened?" He says letting go of me.
"Riley's mad at me, no ones here. I feel alone." I say.
"Why didn't you call your boyfriend? Why did you call me?" He says.
"I don't want him to see me like this." I say only answering the first question with more tear's going down my face.
"Okay. I'll get us water. You sit on the couch." He says.
"Thanks" I say.
He comes in and I close the door.
So sad. Who do you think "he" is.
I think it's kinda obvious but... Yeah.
