I did NOT touch my phone whatsoever, in fact I set it to charge while I did homework

I don't know about you, but my phone is where I have my main apps and my only way of connection with most people
My mum said it's probably updating, but it normally asks a question before doing so, and it's taking its damn time to get back to normal
Should I be worried? It has my Discord, which is another main key of communication for online friends, and it also has apps that I just enjoy playing on (and prefer it on the phone)
Do you think my mum is right?
