Nobody's POV
Shatter look through the window. He stared at Cross searching for more pages, but he knew they were not there. Shatter had found that book in a old maids' room. There were pages missing but it had a magical essence to it. It wasn't as if Shatter hadn't known what type of book it was from the essence, anyways.
It was a updatable book, one of magic, usually used for keeping up with a certain family or one kingdom. Instead the book keeps up with several kingdoms, adding a new story to the book every time a new kingdom is added, and updating the book when something historic happens. Sadly, when a sorry has torn out pages, it does not produce more about that specific story. Depending on how much magic was put on the book to begin with.
The Moon & Sun kingdom was also in the book. This kingdom's story has been updated recently. About two weeks ago. Nobody knows how or who finds out about every little thing a person does, or why they use such UWU book titles. (I'm sorry.)
Anyhow, the story was still in the book. It was one of the longer stories, considering it was a interesting one if the two boys. The story started off with telling about; well actually, I'll save that for when Cross reads it.
Cross finally stoped trying to find the pages. He instead thought more about the story and the eldest name. He was deep in thought and Shatter chuckled, Cross had always had this hilarious face whenever he was thinking really hard about something.
Cross pieced the puzzle together. Midnight. Cross felt like had seen That name somewhere other than the book before so he leaned back in the chair and thought. He was thinking for about 3 mins and suddenly a picture came to his mind. In golden letters he saw; Forever - Midnight. The words rang In his head. He had seen it before but where?
His mind trailed to Nightmare's castle. Okay so he had seen it there but where? And why was it in golden letters? He tried to relent every room in the castle, just to find a single message. He ended up in Nightmare's room, gathering things for the last battle he would ever fight for the Moons. On Nightmare's nightstand there was a locket, a heart shape, nor if that I'd a monster soul. He had picked it up and on the front there was a symbol, like the Dremurr family's, but different. (Witch is also a symbol for something else if you read my midnight book. ((It's not canon to this story, that book)))

Cross flipped the locker open and there it said; Forever - Midnight. On the other side of the locket was a note or something folded up to fit inside of the locket.
