icarus, i envy you,

you reached the sky,

yet flew too close to the sun,

i wished i had a sun,

to make me fall to my death,

yet i wonder if you, icarus,

truly died or fell in love,

was it with the sun, or,

was it the feeling of flight,

flying too close to the sun,

falling into unknown land,

or in the eternal chaos of the sea,

dear icarus, did you love the sun?

because the sun loved so dear,

it touched you but you died in its stead

marry your faults, accept your falls,

you died yet lived

in the heart

between the sky and sea.
