Hisoka knew about my powers, but how the hell did he ever obtain that hidden part of my life, was a total mystery to me.

I shook my head. I'll just ask him when I see him.

I had turned my attention to something that would solve my problem with the more important question. And that was... For what reason did Illumi Zoldyck wipe out my entire village?

Money was surely the reason... But then it should have been a large sum of it for so many casualties and covered residential area-

Generosity was obviously not the answer. By the look of his unchangeable expressions and dead eyes, he didn't give off a friendly, caring aura. Nor was he different from his mother, where the unpleasant encounter with her left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I cringed. That woman is bat-shit crazy...

"Y/n, are you ok? You are making some weird faces today." Leorio said. "your behaviour gives off so many mixed signals. Even I don't know if you are a proper woman or not."

"Are you perhaps questioning me, you Oreo?" I boasted, spreading my arms wide.

"No comment." Slack-mouthed, he cleared his throat and strolled before me.

"Better for you, ameba. And watch your mouth when we get to the headquarters. I don't want to see an executed man so late at night."

"Wow, I'm shaking! What are you going to do– "

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Accelerating my pace, I caught up with him and swiftly gripped his upper arm, spinning it so the male's muscles tensed under the pressure.

"Ow, ow! Stop it! That hurts!"

"Good." I released him and in mischievous manner brushed fake dust from my hands. "A least you will take my threats a little bit more seriously from now on."

He massaged the pained part of his body and lowly murmured. "I didn't know such a small thing can possess so much strength. What are you even feeding yourself on?"

"Oh, the usual!" I yanked my hand in the air. "Victim's blood and crushed bones. Sometimes I even add some spices and herbs to give more flavour and texture to it." I joked as Gon giggled from afar, while Kurapika just tilted his head and obviously accepted his doomed destiny with us being in the blonde's presence.

But the raven wasn't sure whether to believe me or not. He glanced at me suspiciously. "I really pray to all the gods out there, that your eating preferences were just one of your black-humour jokes. Otherwise I'll get a heart attack beside you."

"You don't have so much time to ponder on it too much." I poked him and pointed at the door. "We are already here. So behave, Oreo."

"Stop calling me Oreo, for goodness sake!" He hissed but his voice trailed off when the entrance suddenly opened.

"We have been expecting you." A man formally stated, pushing his glasses up the narrow nose.

I, Kurapika and the raven watched carefully as Gon continued playing the coin game with Gotoh. I had to admit, his instincts and the atmosphere deduction were incredible. Same went for his sharp senses.

No wonder why Hisoka is so infatuated with him. That kid is talented.

Our chances of winning were existent as well as our goal to again reunite with Killua. Maybe the pressure and the thought of rotting with the other miserable (by my opinion of course) servants that were examining the brutally hard game with such enthusiasm, forced the younger male to give his all.
