Holly Kielty is a competitive figure skater. She attends a boarding school with a prestigious skating program in Minnesota where she spends most of her schools breaks doing one thing: training.

With the Figure Skating Championships and the Olympics looming, Holly doesn't even think she'll make it home for the holidays.

That is, until her head coach decides that an extended break might be exactly what all her skaters need to ease their frazzled nerves.

And for Holly, that means returning home to the cheerful small town that holds her namesake: Holly Hills, Massachusetts.

Nolan Thompson is stressed high school senior. He's busy finalizing college applications and captaining a winning hockey team, but Holly Kielty remains in the back of his mind as the height of the holiday season approaches.

Everyone's hoping for snow, and Nolan's left hoping that Holly might make it home. She left him out in the cold last Christmas, and this year, she owes him answers.

Little does he know, those answers might be arriving sooner than he anticipates.
