explosion; a grfx portfolio

☆ﾟ. * ･ ｡ﾟpersonal: three year graphic journey

haha so i saw something a few months back about some sort of "journey" kind thing where i showed you my progress of graphic making

and i was planning on doing this on my wattpadversy (or whatever it's called haha) but it turns out i forgot since my wattpad anniversary was actually yesterday

so here's a one-day-late graphic progress which was kind of rushed ((;

so (i think) i started in october of 2017– which was like 2 years and 2 months ago if i did the math correctly

(i actually probably started before but i can't find anything before that general time period because i got a new phone—)

i was kind of obsessed with like only two fonts and i didn't know how to do shit. i think i was using SuperImpose because i saw that somebody else used it and i looked up to them haha

fast forward some unspecified amount of months, but i was starting to kind of get the hang of things. i knew what (most of) the blending options did and i was playing around more with typography. everything was still pretty simple though

i was really getting into blended titles and characters more here. the characters aren't necessarily very nicely blended, but it was blended (sort of). i was also kind of really into matching scripted fonts with serif fonts (all i used was 'optimus princeps' and 'master of break' though i'm pretty sure)
