Her Melody

Chapter 1

3rd Person's POV

Ang huling paghampas sa drums ang hudyat na tapos na ang pagtatanghal ng bandang Cosmelody. Naghiyawan at nagpalakpakan ang mga estudyante. Wala namang bago dahil matagal nang nagtatanghal ang banda.

Ang Cosmelody ay sikat na banda sa kanilang unibersidad. May anim na miyembro ito sina Harm, Key, Blue, Audrey, Piper, and Adora. They have their own accompaniments except from the two members which are Adora, their leader and Piper that both are leading in vocals.

"Thank you for listening on our performance today. Did you enjoy?" saad ni Adora na agad tinugunan ng madla ng paghiyaw lalo na ng mga lalaki.

Hindi maitatanggi na maganda ang kanilang vocalist, bonus pa na mala-anghel ang boses nito. Kaya marami at lalo pang nagkakagusto ang mga kalalakihan sa kanilang unibersidad sa babae.

Umalis na sila sa entablado na ngayon ay may nagsasalita ng MC. They actually have an event in their school and as usual, as a band of the school, they have to perform atleast three songs to entertain the students.

"Mag-ayos muna kayo, after that we will gather on music room." Their leader said.

Lahat naman ay tumango maliban lang sa isang tao, si Key.

"Uhm, for what?" tanong ni Key na halata sa mukha na hindi alam ang tungkol sa sinabi ng leader nila.

"Hindi ka ba nagbabasa sa gc?" tanong ni Piper na hindi naman agad hinintay ang sagot nito dahil napagtanto nilang naka-mute nga pala ang gc nila dito.

"Hoy, Susi matuto ka ngang mag-unmute sa gc natin. Siguro kung hindi kita tinext kanina na maaga tayong magpi-perform ngayon baka nasa bahay ka pa ninyo ngayong oras." Saad ni Blue.

"O, sandali! Masyado kayong hot! Ang mahalaga ay importante." Pagbibiro naman nitong si Key.

"Ewan ko sa inyo. Basta ha, Sa music room. No excuses!" saad ni Adora at agad na umalis sa backstage.

Musette's POV

Our school has an event today but I chose to ditch that stupid event because why not? Ako ang magdi-desisyon sa dapat at hindi ko dapat gawin. No one can stop me.

Just kidding!

It's true naman na hindi ako pumunta sa event at nandito ako ngayon sa library. Wala lang. I looooove silence. But sometimes silence is more louder, right?

Pero not for me. I found peace in silence. Doon ako mas nakakapag-isip ng ideas and everything. I actually love poems, novels and anything related to literary artworks. I'm not just into reading, I also write poets, stories, and songs. Yes, besides of literary artworks, my interest is also music.

I already had several own composed songs. Only my parents had listened because I'm too shy to release it. I want to hear it by other people but I don't actually want recognition. I hate being mentioned.

"OMG! Ang gwapo talaga ni Audrey. Everytime he hit the drums, mag nagiging hot siya sa paningin ko."

"HAHAHA. Silly! But, my whole attention is on Piper actually. His voice is leading me to heaven."

Ang harot ha! May pa-heaven heaven something. It's probably about Cosmelody, our school's band. I only know the band name, I barely know the members' names and of course, their faces. I don't have time to know them. Maybe some of them are my classmates but seriously I don't know. May benefit pa kapag kinilala ko sila? I just know they sing in every event in school.

May klase ba ako later? Oh, shoot! Half day lang pala ako today. Siguro gagawin ko na lang yung pinapagawa ni Sir Alclem. Ayoko muna umuwi e.

Harm's POV

Nakatipon na kami ngayon sa music room and guess what? Nakatunganga lang kami. Mga 3 minutes na.

"E, ano bang pag-uusapan natin ngayon? Is this serious?" si Key ang unang bumasag ng katahimikan namin.

E kung hindi siya nagmi-mute ng gc dyan edi sana alam niya diba. Ugok talaga.

Tumango naman si Adora at sumagot ng oo.

Bigla namang lumungkot yung itsura ni Key, naluluha pa. "Is this about our disbandment?" tanong nito.

Baliw.

"Gago. Gusto mo ba?" tanong ni Blue at agad namang umiling si Key.

Isip-bata talaga.

"Let's discuss it already, Adora." Saad ni Audrey at bigla na namang bumalik sa kaninang aura.

Adora cleared her throat and remain her serious face and stare at us. I smiled at her to know that it's alright.

"We have a problem to the song that I currently doing. I can't. It's almost 5 months and wala pa ring progress. I'm scared that if wala tayong magawang kanta ay magsasawa silang pakinggan at panoorin tayo." She is already crying.

I know there is a problem that she is facing right now but doesn't want to let us know. I know and I understand her.

Lumapit ako sa kanya at niyakap siya. She is the only girl in our band and she is special to us. Our precious girl. Kaya hindi namin masyado pinapalapit sa boys. Masakit sa amin na nahihirapan siya at ayaw naming nakikita siyang umiiyak.

"For the mean time, mag-cover muna tayo ng popular band songs. They also like that right?" Blue suggested.

"We can Blue but, you know that we got popular nung ginamit nating piece sa battle of the bands is our own song."

She's right. Noong sumali kami sa battle of the bands kami lang ang nagparinig ng sariling compose na kanta and they liked that kaya kami ang nanalo. Kung paano kami dapat nagsimula ganun din dapat sa susunod.

"Don't worry, Adora. We will find a solution for this, okay? Don't cry." Piper said.

I can see sadness and pain in his eyes. Of course, sino bang hindi kung nakikita mong nasasaktan yung mahal mo diba? Piper is secretly inlove with Adora. Hindi niya lang kaya mag-confess because he is such a chick. Masyadong torpe kaya ayan patago ring nasasaktan.

Anyways, Nakita kong napangiti si Key. Ang bilis talaga mag-isip ng batang 'to.

"Guys, Alam ko na!" he shouted.

Lahat kami nakatingin lang sa kanya at hinihintay ang sasabihin niyang inaasahan namin na makakatulong sa problema namin.

"What if we find a someone who can compose a song?" saad niya.

Will we able to find someone? Paano? Sino?
