A queue trailed behind Verunt as he placed his red crystal on the counter of Riverfall's crystal support. "I think I've broken it. It's cold and won't shine." He had to get it fixed before Amber did it for him.
A pimpled teenager sighed. "Have you laid it in the sun for an hour?" He studied his nails instead of facing Verunt.
"Of course I have!" Verunt turned red. 10 minutes were close enough, right?
The support guy looked up for the first time and raised an eyebrow. "No you haven't," he said before returning to his nails. "Next!"
