Alright, broskis, so, I've had a night to process the movie (sleep was hard to come by) and now I can give a decent review without as much ranting as I did in my Endgame review.

But be forewarned, there will still be ranting, and a good amount of it.

Also I may or may not have taken a voice recording of the movie to get my real time reactions.... Is it illegal? Maybe. Do I care? No.

So, first of all, my overall thoughts.

I freaking loved this movie. Some might say the writing is bad and it's just a mess. And I mean, that's probably true, but I tend to make my own opinions about these things. Easily a 9/10 for me.

(It lost a point for a couple of reasons I'll dive into later).

I think it was the perfect end to the saga, even if I thought it ended on kind of a sad/bittersweet note.

But hey, what am I on this site for? Fanfiction. So maybe expect either a one shot or a full fic about an ending to TROS I came up with, mostly just adjusting a few things.

Anyways, let's dive into the movie, hitting some key points and my thoughts on them.

First of all, Snoke was Palpatine the whole time. Idk, if you watched a clip that was posted, you probably knew that. But what that means is that it was really Palpatine who was feeding the dark thoughts and watching Ben ever since Leia was pregnant with him.

Moments where I wanted to pull a Thanos counter: 1

Anyways, Resistance Spy in the First Order! Finn and Poe get the Intel from the mole and speed on back to the Resistance Base, where Rey is being trained by Leia (because as I'll explain in a few, Leia was actually trained by Luke at one point).

Guys, anytime Leia was on screen, I got emotional. I knew all that footage was recycled and it wasn't actually her. But we'll come back to her in a little bit.

During this training, Rey gets a cryptic vision and she sort of brushes it off when her friends come back. She and Poe bicker and it's great. It's like a true sibling rivalry. (They're not actually siblings, but again, I'll come back to that)

Basically the long and the short of it is they gotta go to this OTHER desert planet, Pasana (I think that's how you spell it) to find an artifact to help them defeat Palpatine (cause it's common knowledge that he's back).

The squad is Rey, Poe, Finn, BB-8, Chewie, and 3PO. Everyone else stays on the base.

When they get there, surprise suprise! The Force Bond is still active and that's how Ben tracks where Rey and her friends are.
