Dio Brando X Fem!Joestar!Reader: Enemies to lovers

A/N: In this oneshot, you are Johnathan's younger twin sister. Because of this, you will have the last name Joestar, as well as blue hair and blue eyes to match Johnathan's appearance. This one shot gets angsty towards the end with details of death and childbirth, so reader discretion advised.

The first time you met Dio Brando you instantly disliked him.

You, your brother, and your beloved dog Danny had been playing in front of your home, when a carriage rolled up. Johnathan approached the carriage while you lingered behind with Danny. The carriage door was kicked open and a golden haired boy delicately leaped out. You opened your lace fan and hid your scoff.

"Oh!" your brother said boisterously. "You must be Dio! I'm Johnathan," he said, approaching the blonde boy with a massive smile.

Dio sneered. His orange eyes flitted to you. The bottom half of your face was covered with a tattered lace fan. But your piercing cerulean eyes were fixed on him. They were narrowed into slits. The difference between Johnathan's sunny disposition and your icy glare amused him greatly.

Danny, who had remained at your side, growled and barked.

"That's my dog, Danny," Johnathan said. "Don't worry. He's well trained. He knows better than to bite or jump at strangers."

The dog trotted over to Dio, curious at the new presence. As the dog grew closer, Dio lashed out, kicking the dog in its face with all his might.

"Danny!" you cried out, dropping your fan and running to the dog.

"Why would you do that?" Johnathan demanded, shocked and appalled.

"It jumped at me," Dio said.

"No, he didn't," you said, venom in your eyes.

These were the first words you spoke to him. Dio raised an eyebrow.

"Johnathan. (Y/n)," George Joestar called from the doorway of the mansion. "I see you've met Dio."

Dio, you, Johnathan, and the manor staff stood in the entrance hall of the Joestar manor. George Joestar stood on the first step of the grand staircase.

"This is Dio Brando," he said, gesturing to the blonde intruder. "Without the help of his father, I, and my two children, would not have survived the carriage crash which claimed my wife. He is to be treated as my son."

The staff all nodded and bowed. George descended the step and stood before his two children.

"Johnathan, (y/n), Dio did not mean to hurt Danny, alright?" George said.

"The dog jumped at me. I acted on instinct," Dio said, not apologizing.

Your dear brother frowned for a moment than said:

"I suppose if a strange dog jumped at me, I would have reacted in the same way."

"But he didn't jump!" you exclaimed, frustrated with your brother's good nature. "He was only sniffing Dio. And Johnahan told him Danny wouldn't bite!" you yelled, stomping your foot and squeezing your hands into fists. "He kicked Danny unprovoked! He hurt our dog!"

Dio looked at you with an amused smirk. Your father laughed, writing off your complaints.

"Please, forgive my daughter, Dio. She can be overly sensitive at times," he said, placing a hand on your shoulder.

Dio waved his hand.

"That is not a poor quality for a woman to have. I take no offense," he said, bowing to you.
