Aged patience, and dulled anger
That's what they said.
I stayed distracted for some time but
here's the moment after 15 years of summer joys and September blues
And the same embers crackle with laughter
Remembering how I couldn't sleep that night
How my weightless worries plagued me that night
And how it was all for nothing, but a smile on my face
