"Alright, everyone! We have a new club member joining us today and probably joining forever now!" Noah says to everyone.

I pop out from behind Noah's back, "H-hi everyone!" I wave, nervously, yet excitedly, I also chuckle a little bit,

"Hello there! What's your name cute, little one?" Natsuki asks me,

"Ch-Chloe is my name." I answer Natsuki's question shyly.

"Ok, everyone! Do you all have your poems for today?" Monika asks everyone. Unlike the others, I have absolutely no experience with writing poems, so I am not able to share mine with anyone, but yet I still have my poem I wrote last night,

"Umm, do I have to share mine too?" I ask Monika,

"You don't have to young one." Monika responds to my question quite confidently.

Sayori cheerfully walks up to me and asks me,

"Hi, my name is Sayori! What's your name?"

"Ch-Chloe's my name."

"Would you like to read my poem, Chloe?"

"Su-sure Sayori!" I reply.

Sunlight

The sunlight hugs my face like nothing before
With nothing taking the sunlight away from me
Until the night rips the sun from my face
And replaces it with emptiness

I can't escape the night as I sink into sleep
If I could, I would have done so earlier
Yet, it wouldn't come to me

Give me the sunlight I so crave
Sunlight is my only friend now.

"It took me a while to write it, you know."

"I love it, Sayori!"

"Can I read your poem, Chloe?"

"Su-sure!"

Space

I think of space like no one else
I want to be an astronaut after I graduate in 3 years
Space is a void filled with planets, stars, galaxies
All of which, I would love to explore

But it's all been ripped away from me
Taken to an unknown place
Suddenly, I am taken up above Earth
1 of 3 inside a spacecraft
The spacecraft docks with the ISS

I hop into the ISS after docking
I find my "crew quarters"
Float inside
Pull out a paper and write
Something I can't understand fully

Space is my friend
One of 6 aboard the ISS

I love Space entirely

"Wow! Beautiful poem, Chloe!"

"Th-thank you, Sayori!" I say to Sayori as she grabs her poem from my hands and I do the same with my poem.

Monika walks over to me,

"I'm Monika. The one who just walked off with her poem is Sayori. The one slumped over on her desk with her book, is Yuri. The one in the closet is Natsuki. Natsuki keeps her entire manga collection in the closet. I practice the piano. What's your name, shortie?"

"D-don't call me shortie! My name's Chloe by the way."

"Hahahaha~ Nice name too!"

"Th-thanks!"

Monika hands me her poem.

Lights in the dark

Lights in the dark are common.
They can't be shut down.
Only as long as they shine in the night sky.

The sun takes their light away.
The moon brings their light back.
The moon is their only friend that makes them shine.

I love the moon.

"I love it, Monika!"

"R-really Chloe?!"

"Yeah!"

I hand Monika my poem, the same one I showed Sayori.

--4.26 minutes later--

"Beautiful Chloe."

"H-huh?"

"Your poem. It's beautiful!"

"Th-thank you, Monika. I really appreciate it!"

"Your welcome Chloe." Monika takes her poem, hands me mine, and walks off towards Sayori.

A small girl, who's name is apparently Natsuki, walks up to me.

"Hmph."

"Anything wrong?" I ask Natsuki.

"What do you care about that?"

"I do care."

"You don't wanna know..."

"I think I do." I say to Natsuki, sternly as a matter of fact.

"M-my Papa hurts me at home every day." Natsuki replies to me.

"You can stay at my house with me tonight if you want to."

"Su-sure." Natsuki stutters.

"Ok, everyone! It's time for everyone to go home now! Let's hope that Chloe will be back here tomorrow too!" Monika exclaims.

Everyone heads home, while Noah, and I wait for Natsuki to walk home with us.
