Your POV
I woke up, my eyes having to adjust to the light coming through the blinds. I sat up, though careful to not wake up the sleeping Pokemon next to me just yet, and got off the bed. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. "I look like a mess." I mumbled. I brushed my hair with my fingers since I was too lazy to grab the brush in my bag. I brushed my teeth before heading out of the bathroom."Well, seems like you guys are already up." I giggled lightly while looking at the three Pokemon already jumping around. They all looked at me and smiled. "Now, time to head to the opening ceremony!"
After Ceremony~
"That was awesome! Wouldn't you agree Hop?" I asked my purple haired friend excitedly. "Totally!" He agreed. We both chatted a bit more before him, Gloria, Victor, and I reached the Budew Drop Inn. "I'll see you guys soon!" I said. "What do you mean mate? You're leaving again already?" Hop asked, almost seeming a bit sad."Don't worry, I'll see you again soon." I reassured him while rubbing the top of his hand with my thumb. "Alright. See ya soon (Y/n)!" He said before walking into the building behind us with my siblings while I walked towards Route 3, ready to train so I can take on the Turffield Gym. I grabbed Tidal, Nightingale, and Rockstar's pokeball before releasing them. "Alrighty, we need to start training up a bit so we can take on the gym in Turffield. Sadly, I can only really use Nightingale since she's a Flying type." I said to the trio.
They all nodded and I started to train. I started off with Tidal and battled a trainer that was on the route. "Use Water Gun!" "Tackle!" Tidal one shotted the opposing Pokemon and then he started to glow. As the bright blue light enveloped the water lizard, I was in total shock. "Is he evolving!?" I thought. As the light went away, I saw that Tidal wasn't the same shy little lizard anymore. He looked almost...emo? I pulled out the Pokedex I got installed into my Rotom phone from Professor Magnolia and had it scan the newly evolved Pokemon.
"Drizzile; The Water Lizard Pokemon. A clever combatant, this Pokemon battles using water balloons created with moisture secreted from its palms." The Pokedex stated. "Wow, I can't believe you already evolved Tidal!" I exclaimed. "I'm so proud of you!" I praised him. In turn, he smiled and clapped his hands. 'Driz!'
"This is amazing! After a couple more wild Pokemon, I can move onto training Nightingale!" I thought happily. "Alright Tidal, let's battle a couple more wild Pokemon and then you can rest for a bit. Sound good?" I suggested. He nodded his head and let out a light cry before we ran back into the grass. After a couple of Pokemon, Tidal was at an appropriate level so I switched into Nightingale. "Time to start training Nightingale!"
After a lot of Pokemon, the Tiny Bird Pokemon started to glow the same bright blue as Tidal did earlier. "Again?! Geez, what is this? The day of miracles?" I asked myself, not believing what was happening in front of my eyes. Nightingale evolved into a Pokemon I know I've heard about from Hop. I pulled out my Pokedex and let it scan Nightingale like it did with Tidal. "Corvisquire; The Raven Pokemon. Smart enough to use tools in battle, these Pokemon have been seen picking up rocks and flinging them or using ropes to wrap up enemies." The dex stated.
Thankfully, Nightingale had learned Pluck two levels back so I have a stronger Flying Type move when I go against Milo. "Take a rest." I said as I returned the Raven Pokemon to her pokeball. I dug in my bag for a quick second before grabbing out Rockstar's pokeball and sending him out of it. I did the same thing with him that I did with the other two. I trained him up to level eighteen like the others, which took a bit longer than expected.
I looked up at the sky and saw that it was starting to turn slightly orange and pink. "Man, I spent a long time training huh?" I thought. "Rockstar, how about we set up camp? We can rest and start again tomorrow." I suggested as I picked him up. He nodded happily and seemed a bit relieved. I walked around for a minute before finding an open area and setting up the camping gear I had grabbed before I left home. I let out Tidal and Nightingale so they could play with Rockstar.
