Life was complicated, especially at the Salvatore School. Normal wasn't the exact word you'd use to describe the place, or the people who studied there.

Especially, since students were acting all giddy and merry in October, thinking its the happiest time of the year. Hannah hated Christmas and she hated it even more considering it appears that her sister had Kaleb drag her away from a spawn of the mud pit, he did deserve to get a punch from Hannah. Too bad Hope had Kaleb drag the teen away.

"Let me go, Kaleb, or I swear to God, I will bite you." Hannah threatened as Kaleb dragged her through the halls. "Let me fucking go!" Kaleb gave her an exasperated look. "You are drunk." He stated as if the brunette didn't already know that. "Partly." She argued.

A few students stared at them as they passed. Hannah didn't really usually care about the staring but being partly drunk made her a bit more irritable and more aggressive then usual. "Hey! Keep staring and I'll rip your eyeballs out and feed them to you!" She threatened as some teen passed by giving them a confused gaze. The kid quickly looked away.

Soon, after a few more moments of fighting Kaleb, the vampire eventually let her go and had her sit in one of the chairs in an empty area of the school. "Ugh, finally." She muttered as she reached over to punch him in the arm. "Ow."

She smirked, "That is for hauling me across the school." She punched him again, "Double ow." He complained, clutching his arm. "And that is for following the shit my sister says."

"Okay, in our defense, you were going to rip his dead off with your bear hands if we didn't do something." He replied, sitting next to her.

There weren't a lot of students around, most likely most of them were outside playing in the snow or having fun with their significant others.

Hannah gave him a annoyed look and rolled her eyes, "He deserved it. I could've ripped his head out in seconds, if you didn't stop me. He took my sister away from me for fucks sake. I don't care if he loses his face, he isn't even that good looking." She replied, burying herself unto the chair.

"So, this is what you really want?" Revenge?" Kaleb asked genuinely.

Hannah nodded, "She lied to me, yes. But she's still my sister, I still love her. Even if she has a martyr complex. She's practically the only person I have left, of course, besides my aunts and uncle. I get that she wants to save the school, but would it kill her to actually think about the people who care about her. What if she actually dies and can't come back. We don't even know if she will come back. Or God know what."

Kaleb sighed, feeling sympathy for Hannah. She only cared about her sister's well being. She was only being a protective sister. "I get you, girl. But if she didn't jump into Malivore we'd probably be dead or something."

Hannah groaned and hid her face in her hands in annoyance. "I know but she doesn't have to always sacrifice herself all the damn time. It kills me that she thinks she's expendable."

"Well, why don't you tell her that. So you guys could make amends." Kaleb suggested.

The tribrid smile at him, removing her hands from her face. "Thanks. Maybe I will, then I could literally slap some sense into her." Kaleb and Hannah shared a laugh. "And maybe Josie, too?"

Hannah's smile faltered and grew sad, "I love Josie, I do, Kaleb but I need some time to process the shit she put me through." Kaleb nodded in understanding. "Thanks for today though."

Kaleb smile widely, "I like hanging out with you, Mikaelson, drama and all but you are a mess when you're drunk." They both laughed. "Speaking of which, I need more alcohol, I can't deal with Hope sober." She stated as she started to get up.

"Want me to come with you?" Kaleb asked, a little concerned.

Hannah shook her head, "I can handle my booze, Hawkins. Plus, I took too much of your time today, go have some fun with MG." Kaleb smiled at her.

"See you later." She waved before she made her way somewhere else.

Hannah sat in her bed, a book in her hand. She wanted to have a talk with Hope earlier that day but she couldn't find her. She got herself really drunk after giving up and deciding she'd do it the next day. Her hangover wasn't the that bad, she's been through worse. Now, she sat on her bed reading one of her many books she wouldn't put down.

Hannah was pulled out of her head when she heard a knock on her door. "You could come in, Hope." Hannah replied, noticing Hope peeking through the door.

Hesitantly, Hope walked inside, stopping right in front of Hannah's bed. "Kaleb said you tried looking for me, and that you wanted to talk." Hannah closed her book and placed it on her bed gently before she spoke. "You're an idiot, Hope."

Hope sighed at her words knowing full well where the conversation was headed. "You were stupid to think that jumping into some mud pit would solve our problems, you were so stupid to think that we wouldn't care if you were gone. You are an idiot to think that we'd be better off without you because you're wrong. Hope, you are so, so wrong."

Hannah's eyes were glossy, her heart was racing and she felt like strangling Hope that very moment. "You are not disposable, Hope. You're important. You are needed here. You can't just throw yourself into a mud black hole expecting everything to work out fine when you left people who were worried about you, people who care about you."

"Hannah," Hannah stopped Hope before she could get any closer. "Let me finish. You are an idiot. You can't just leave like that. Leave me." Hope stared at the ground, avoiding Hannah's gaze. "You left me here all alone. Do you know how much that hurts? You are the only person I have left and you though it would be a great idea to leave me, too. I couldn't bear the pain of being so fucking alone that my dumb ass decided to erase it all. You can't just do that, Hope. I hated you before for the exact same reason."

"Hannah, I'm sorry." Hope replied, her eyes filled with complete regret. "I didn't know this would happen."

Hannah wiped off a tear that had escaped her eye. "No, you knew exactly what would happen when you jumped into Malivore, Hope." Hannah sat on her bed as she wiped her tears.

"You deserve better." Hope replied, Hannah looked up at her. "You deserve so much better than this, Hannah. And I'm sorry for everything. I truly am, but we can't change the past." Hannah continued to stare at her knowing what she meant. "I'm sorry about leaving you." Hope took a seat next to Hannah, hesitating before she took her hand. "I'm sorry I want there for you when you needed me the most, but I'm here now. Please forgive me."

Hannah stared at her for a moment before tackling Hope with a hug. "Just don't ever leave me again and I will." Hope smiled as Hannah buried her head in her sister's shoulder.
