Appearance

Etsu puts off a sophisticated and grace like appearance. She has long reddish brown hair that flows to her waist and bright blue eyes. She is actually quite short compared to her vampire companions. She usually holds a bored expression on her face and nothing really interests her. When Etsu gets angry she admits a dark aura around her.

Personality

Etsu is a very calm and doesn't show much interest or emotion in anything. She also gets very reserved and doesn't like letting people know about her life or past. She is considered slightly mean since she will say whatever is on her mind.When she's around Takuma her personality changes slightly. Her usually stoic voice turns more happy and excited. She is actually very shy and happy around him.

She also has a weakness to sweets, especially Popsicle.When Etsu gets angered she turns frightening and doesn't have complete control of her powers. She hates, absolutely hates, when Kaname doesn't treat her as an equal.Etsu is usually very sleepy and this could be a reason for her bored and uninterested expression.

History

As a child Etsu was a hyper and happy all the time. It would be hard to shut up the girl and she could brighten anyone's day. She had a huge curiosity, everything and anything interested the girl.

She only saw her brother for the first couple years of her life before he put her into a deep slumber. She was woken up by Kaname a few hundred years later. Since she was very weak at that stage she changed her body into a little girl and lived with Kaname and his family. Here she played with Yuki until she was separated from the Kuran's when Rido tried to kill them.

After the deaths of the Kuran's Etsu became her quiet self and showed no likeness towards anyone. She never really seemed interested in anything and found everything quite boring. When Kaname was reunited with the little girl she met Takuma ichijo. Etsu found Takuma interesting enough and would follow him around secretly. Takuma found out of Etsu's likeness towards when he had woken up from his sleep, earlier than usual, and found her cuddled next to him in his bed.

This caused a friendship to grow and Etsu would start behaving her usual happy self again. Etsu, while still quiet, seemed to be happier than what she had been when her and Takuma started becoming close friends. Takuma would frequently read stories to her out loud while she was curled into his side.

However as the two got older Asato took noticed that they were getting feelings for each other and separated the two due to his dislike of pure bloods. This is when she met Mei Keigo, whose parents were more than happy to take Etsu into the family. After the separation of Takuma and her Etsu started being reserved and quiet again.

Powers and Abilities

Like all Pure blood vampires, Etsu has immortality and the ability to heal from anything excluding anti-vampire weapon wounds to the heart or head. Like all vampires, she could absorb the powers from vampires whose blood she drinks. Like all vampires, she also has enhanced strength and super speed. She also has a gift that allows her to cause pain to anyone she wants to and she can touch someone and see their whole life in her eyes. Etsu also has the following abilities:

*Telekinesis
*Erasing memories
*Changing the physicality of her body
*Control of multiple vampires by her command against their will
*Ability to turn a Pure blood vampire into a human

Relationships

Kaname Kuran

Kaname and Etsu share a complicated relationship.While Etsu does look at Kaname as her older brother she also sees him as her equal and doesn't like when he looks down on her. Kaname is usually amused when she's angered and sees her as no threat, even when her "aura" changes. Both won't harm each other because they care for each other like family.

Takuma Ichijo

Takuma and Etsu boith have deep feelings for each other. Etsu does tend to be nicer and more opened to Takuma than anyone else. Etsu even still sneaks into his room like they were little to sleep with him. Etsu also sits next to him during their studies together. Etsu and Takuma were close to being lovers before Sara Shirabuki comes in the picture. When Sara comes Etsu starts to notice a change in Takuma before he starts ignoring her.

Mei Keigo

Etsu sees Mei not only as her bodyguard but also as a little sister, Etsu is very protective of the girl and will threaten anyone who tries to harm he, even though it's suppose to be the other way around. Even though Etsu can't really Mei's hyperness she deals with it because she loves and cares for Mei.

Zero Kiryu

Etsu seems to like to tease Zero in a way and finds him intriguing. The second time they meet she uses her gift to look at his life. She sympthizes him and gets an attachment to him and finds herself wanting to protect the boy. Etsu also finds herself hanging around the barn he's usually in, even in the day time. Etsu even falls asleep in the barn one night.

Yuki

When they were little Yuki and her got along quite well however now Etsu doesn't seem to be quite fond of her. She even ignores her most of the time and this might be due to her attachment to Zero and her relationship with Kaname.
