i took a deep breath.
"and you'll never understand that because you think you can fix everyone and you can't. you're only making us feel worse by telling us we matter when we know we don't. by telling us people will care but we know they won't."
i looked away from the sky and down at the ground.
"and you make me feel terrible when you tell me about saving lives but you can't save mine," i told her in a soft voice. "so will this damn train come already!"
