We landed on this pile of ice and dust expecting to find something that would advance our scientific knowledge, but what we actually found was an American flag and a small tent. Cautiously we approached the tent, our space boots leaving heavy impressions in the grey dust.
"Hullo? Anyone there?" called out Matthews, rather foolishly.
I admit we were all in a state of shock. This was supposedly the very first human expedition to Titan - we'd spent months in deep sleep, travelling through space.
A man popped his head out between the flaps. "Sorry," he said. "It's another hoax."
