Chapter six: Over the Mountain

The words spoken to me kept repeating like a mantra in my head. Why did everyone think it was fun to use riddles in situations such as these. Like I didn't have enough problems as it was. Now I have to solve a riddle that is suppose to tell me  what our mission was. Or maybe I wasn't. Maybe he was just saying stuff. I hated dreams!!!

I rand my fingers through my hair hoping it would release the tension that had begun to build at the top of my skull. It helped but not by much. It was as if the pain was intensifying and I found myself going to the nearest low surface, which happened to be a couch in the corner of the room, and laying down. I placed my arm over my eyes feeling the brightness was causing even more pain. 

I heard the click of the light switch from across the room and then my feet being lifted. I lifted the elbow and glanced  with squinting eyes at the man beginning to massage my feet. He looked at me a small smirk tugging at his lips. 

"Rest is what you need right now my love. You are sstressing yourself out and that is the last thing that you need to do."He said. 

"How can I not stress out? I want to go home BlackStorm. I want to be back in our home." I sighed.

I heard foot steps and saw a woman handing him a cup of tea. He blew the steam away from the top and then took a sip before handing it to me. The hear rose int my noseand I sighed at the scent. Jasmine, vanilla, cinnamon, and possibly peach mint. The aroma seemed to lessen the pain at my temples and I took a sip and leaned back. 

"We will get there when it is time. for now you dont need to worry about that. Worry about our children and me. We have a lot more help here then at home. Take advantage of it." He spoke softly.

"That is another thing. How do we have the luxury of  this life when you have never been here? Nothing makes sense. I am confused." I sighed trying to wrap my head around it but winces as the pain intensified. Maybe if i though of nothing at all it would stop. 

"That will have to be with the magic from which we know not. Never the less it is convenient to have. " He said and leaned forward placing a kiss on my thigh. I sighed and just listened to the silence. 

The very short silence it seemed because it was interrupted by crying. First it was only one cry. But then the other two joined and I all but wanted to cry myself. I had forgotten the time and it was time for their feeding. I lifted with a sigh onto my elbows and he stood placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I will bring them in you relax as much as you can." He said. He stood and I took notice of what he was wearing. A dress shirt and slacks, something I was not used to him wearing. I found myself wishing he was bare chested so that i could see the tribal tattoos on his back. I felt a delicious thrill start with a warm invitation and then it raced down my body resulting in a shiver. No was not the time for such thoughts and feelings. But perhaps later on there would be time for that sort of thing. I was a woman after all and I did have needs. Blackstorm was also very understanding and it was time I gave him a reward as well. 

As if on cue Blade/Black storm came in with three children in his arms. His muscle bulged through the shirt and it was almost distracting me. Maya held out her arms to me and I picked her up kissing her tear streaked face. She giggled and I smiled and began to hum a soft melody as she latched onto her source of food. 

I glanced up feeling eyes and I saw him staring at me. I felt a shiver roll up my body again.  He saw me looking at continued to stare and I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Blade stop staring at me like that." I stated and he smirked at me coming to sit close.

"I can not help it my love. Watching you feed our children is a beautiful thing to see. Such grace and caring. Such strength and I will add sexy. I can not wait to fill you with more children." He growled.

"Hold on Blade. I just had them and breast feeding is quite tiring. Lets wait until they at least turn two please." I asked him and he seemed to think it over.

"Seeing as how wonderfully motil I am and of course your amazing health I think that can be arranged. Im sure you will think differently however on your own time." He said and kissed my neck.

"Oh I am sure that I want to wait but I love you none the less. " I smiled and kissed his cheek before grabbing Micheal.  He was always so...I didn't know how to describe him. But soon it was Gabriel's turn and then I was rocking them to sleep wit the help of Blade. 

"Maam the mail?" One of the servant asked. I nodded still not getting used to the fact that I had to read mail again and we had actual servants. real servants. 

The woman came in with a stack of mail and I began to look through them. water bill. electricity bill. trash mail. junk mail. wrong mail. Some brochure about hangliding.

"We should go on vacation darling. Since we can. "Blade spoke grabbing the brochure.

"Um Im not so okay with -wait. let me see that.  Mount Blackburn?" I asked looking through the brochure.

"Looks like a nice place."He said. 

'Over the mountain. Over the mountain. Over the mountain.'

That one phrase seemed to repeat in my head like a warning bell and I looked closely. This had to be a sign. Or what if it was a coincidence.

"Baby What if this was what we were looking for?" I asked turning to him. He glanced at me and then back down at the brochure before a soft smile took his over his lips. 

"You are so sexy." He growled to approach me and I leaned back flushed and quite turned on. I took a deep breath and leaned forward to peck his lips. But he had other ideas holding the back of my neck and deepening the kiss all the while being careful of the children in our arms. I pulled away fro my sanity and he gave me a heating look while licking his lips 

"Oh this life is going to be so fun my love. " He winked and I cleared my throat and leaned against the couch. A few moments went by and it was a calming silence that seemed to linger. "Vee. I think we should discuss your grandfather." He spoke.

"Im not sure what to say. I....it is so confusing. He died a while back and for him to come back and so tactless as well is...well this entire encounter is out of the ordinary. Actually my wntire life is out of the norm. Blade I traveled through time. I was kidnapped and taken to a later time to be sold. I never did get a real answer as to why that was. I just accepted it and now we are thrown back into the time that I came from as if nothing had happened. But it is so strange and not logical, not real. " I replied.

"I am sure all will be revealed soon my darling." He said shifting Gabriel in his arms and pulled me to his side. the children cuddled into out body and I just sighed and relaxed. The ability to do so finally bringing me peace. 

We were going to be okay. Our children were fine and so were we. We would return soon and for the first time I felt my feet on the ground and everything was still.

Hello everyone. I am so happy to see you all still supporting me in my absence. I can remember when I was only a reader and I would be so upset with the reader for not finishing a book or updating ina long time but now I realise that life is an actual thing and it gets hard to juggle everything. I hope you all enjoy this chapter. I was also able to get over my writer's block for this book so lets hope this continues. Thank you all again. I love you all and I hope you leave alot of comments.
