The Initiation Begins

As everybody still flies in the air, Y/N launches himself farther than Ruby, Yang, and everyone else, as he lands on a tree.

Y/N (thoughts): I wonder who I should partner up with? Maybe, Ruby, Yang?

Y/N hears noises around him. Bushes moving, sticks breaking. Y/N draws his sword, ready to battle the monsters. A pack of beowolfs come out and they stare at Y/N with intent to kill.

Y/N: *sighs* Fighting right-off-the-bat, huh! BRING IT!

(Ruby)

Ruby: Gotta find Yang! Gotta find Yang! Gotta find... (shouts) Yang! Yang! Oh, this is bad, this is really bad... What if I can't find her? What if someone finds her first? Well, there's always Jane. She's nice. She's funny! I don't think she's very good in a fight though. Oh! What about Blake?! So mysterious, so calm... Plus she likes books! Then again, I'm not sure I'd be able to hold a conversation with her... Ugh! Okay... Who else do I know in this school? There's Yang, Jane, Blake, Y/N, and...

Ruby stops in her tracks as she sees Weiss standing in front of her. They both make eye contact. Weiss turns and walks the other way.

Ruby: Wait! Where are you going?! We're suppose to be teammates...

Weiss struggles getting through the forest, as she pushes the plants out of her way. She brushes herself off and sighs, when she hears a voice above them.

Jane: (struggling to free herself) Come on, come on! Stupid...!

Weiss sees Jane hanging on the side of a tree with a spear that stuck her there. Jane looks down and sees Weiss and waves at her and smiles awkwardly. Weiss turns and walks the other way and grabs Ruby by her hood and drags her.

Weiss: By no means does this make us friends.

Ruby: You came back!

Jane: Wait! Come back! Who's going to get me down from here?!

Pyrrha: Jane? (Jane looks down at her) Do you... have any spots left on your team?

Jane: Very funny... (they both smile at each other)

As Ruby and Weiss continue to walk in the other direction. Ruby kind knew Weiss was being a little weird.

Ruby: What's the hurry?

Weiss: I will not let my mission be delayed because you're to slow! I swear, if I get bad grades because of your—(Ruby quickly appears next to Weiss) What the...?

Ruby: I'm not slow see!

Weiss: (looks confused) When did...?

Ruby: Weiss, just because I don't exactly know how to deal with people doesn't I don't know how to deal with monsters! You're about to see a whole different side of me today! Weiss, and after it's all over, you're going to be like, "Wow! That Ruby girl is really, really cool and I wanna be her friend."

Ruby disappears in a shower of rose petals leaving Weiss all by herself, as she hears crackling and rustling around her.

Weiss: You may be fast, but you still excel at wasting time! (there was silence & noises all around) Ruby?

Weiss backs up a little & standing in the bushes behind her was a Beowolf. Weiss notices the Beowolf and realizes she was surrounded by an entire pack.

Weiss: Ruby! (Beowolf roars)

Y/N finally defeated the Beowolfs but now it was time to actually go find Ruby and Yang to join their team.
