"Kiana stop!!" I yelled. I chased her down the hall and to the living room. "Angel chill out!!!!" She cried. "Give me my phone!!!" I yelled. We ran around the house til we saw Mama in the kitchen. She glared at us. We froze. "What y'all doing running through my house?!" She yelled. "Kiana took my phone." I said.

Why?" Mama asked, looking at her. "Angel has a crush on a guy and she won't text him so I will." Kiana said, smiling. She started to run off again but Mama stopped her. "Let me see her phone." She said. My heart dropped. Kiana looked at me then handed Mama my phone.
I knew what that look meant. My heart raced in my chest as Mama held my phone. She walked over to me and gave me my phone back. I breathed a sigh of relief. "Here. Y'all, not today." She said. "You okay?" I asked. She nodded. "Yeah. I got work and y'all got school." She paused. She turned and looked at us.
Speaking of which, why haven't y'all left yet?" She asked, picking up her briefcase. "I was about to til Kiana snatched my phone." I said, glaring at her. She rolled her eyes. "Girl!! Anyways, Mama what about that case you've been working on?" She said. "Kiana I know what your tryna do." Mama said, as she put papers inside the briefcase.
"What?" Kiana asked. "Your going to school. Both of you. Outta my house." She said. Me and Kiana groaned and ran to get our stuff and headed to the our cars. We got in and drove off towards school. As I pulled up, I sighed. I looked around at all the students who were talking to each other. Me and Kiana arrived at this school last week.
We were the new kids in school. Kiana already has lost of new friends while I have yet to make any friends. At my old school, I had lots of friends but moving to a new school meant that you gotta go through the process of making new friends again. It was hard. Nobody knows you and you don't know anyone. Kiana was the loud one so she quickly made new friends.
Her friends talked to me sometimes, but only when Kiana is around. I parked my car and got out. I walked up to the crowds of students. Kiana ran up to me. "Angel you should talk to him then if you ain't gon text him." Kiana said. "Who?" I asked. She gave me a look. "Oh. I don't know bitch." I said. She scoffed. "Girl, come on. Talk to him." She said. Then she stopped.
