The room I was brought into looked like a guard's barracks. It was dark though there were candles lining the walls. Hadvar came in a moment later, looking out of breath and covered in burns. He stepped a bit ahead and turned to face me.

"Looks like we're the only who made it. Was that really a dragon? The bringer of the End Times?"

I didn't know what to say, though I doubt he really wanted an answer.

"We should keep moving. Come here. Let me see if I can get those bindings off."

"Thank you." I say, bringing my arms forward.

Sawing at the ropes for a good minute he finally cut me loose. "There you go. Take a look around, there should be plenty of gear to choose from. I'm going to see if I can find something for these burns."

"Alright then." I turned away from him and looked to the table on my right. There was a few peices of gold sitting on the table.

I might call myself a mage, but really I only know a few spells. I came to Skyrim to visit the College of Winterhold. But instead, I found myself getting a front row seat to an execution, then I get attacked by a dragon and see a whole lot of people getting burnt to a crisp and now I'm in a Keep with one of the soldiers that tried real damn hard to have me killed. Fun times...

Now that I'm here, though, there's a chance I'm might be able to get out and get back to my quest. Spelltomes are very expensive, so I have a feeling I'm going to need to take everything of value with me. No matter how small that is.

Looking around the room, I took all things that were worth something, including swords, gold, gear and wine.

"Better get that armor on, and give that swords a few swings."

"Oh, I don't use weaponry."

He stopped and stared at me as he was trying to open the door. "Then what do you use?"

"I'm a mage, I have enough magicka to do some damage with Flames." For added effect, I armed my Flames to both hands.

He shook his head and continued with the door. "Lets keep moving. That thing is still out there."

Going down deeper into the keep we were attacked many times. I was able to pick up potions and ingredients from the store room. The next room was the torture room according to Hadvar, but when we came in everyone was already dead. I was able to get a mage's robes and hood from there so my spells came easier. I also learned how to work lockpicks which would definitely help in the future.

Hadvar and I ran through the passage ways as fast as we could. Taking out anyone that came at us. There was a point when we came to a room that was filled to the brim with frostbite spiders. Hadvar bravely ran staight in and defeated them all while I stood back. There are times in every woman's life when she just has to say no. Right then was one of them. I do not mess with spiders, of any sort.

We walked on and came upon a bear. She was sleeping, so it wouldn't pose too much of a problem to just sneak by. But Hadvar gave me a bow, and I had never handled a one before. I figured it shouldn't be too bad to get target practice in when I can.

I loosed an arrow and then loosed another in quick succession. I feel like that bear was a little too easy to think that I'm the best shot in the world. So I kept my pride under my hood. The bear was down and that's all that matters.

I gathered everything of value that I could find in the room and high tailed it out of there. Before long we finally made it out of the cave. I was hit with the blinding light of the sun first then everything cleared. I saw beautiful forests and magnificent mountains. Skyrim really was a beautiful place.
