Later, Mystery Inc. and Team RWBY are waling out of the huge building in the middle of the mining town with a handcuffed Evil Masked Figure and a tied up Cinder Fall
"Mystery Inc., do you know the identity of the Evil Masked Figure behind it all?" a reporter asks
"If our hunch is correct, The Evil Masked Figure is...."Velma says as her and Daphne reveal that The Evil Masked Figure was Heather Jasper-Howe
"Heather Jasper-Howe." Daphne adds.
"But...she was at the museum when The Evil Masked Figure was on the roof." a female reporter says
"That's where Cinder comes in. When I realized Heather was The Evil Masked Figure, she quickly put on the costume to make it seem like I was wrong." Daphne explains
"But why did she do it?" the female reporter asks
"Because...Heather Jasper-Howe is actually..." Velma says as she pulls off yet another mask revealing Johnathan Jacobo as the true culprit
"Dr. Johnathan Jacobo. The original Pterodactyl Ghost." Velma adds
"But how do you know this?" the female reporter adds.
"A photo taken in front of the Coolsonian he happened to be in. Jacobo supposedly died a year before construction even began." Velma answers
"So Jacobo survived that fall off the prison wall..." Shaggy said
"He also adapted the false Heather Jasper-Howe persona to turn the press against us!" Fred added
"He then framed poor Old Man Wickles by putting the book and The Black Knight Ghost in his mansion." Daphne added
The cops start taking Cinder and Jacobo away
"As if you getting the lead in My Fair Lady wasn't enough!" Wickles snapped
"I was an excellent Eliza, you were too act-y!" Jacobo responded
"And stealing my tater-tots!!" Wickles added
"You kept saying you felt puffy!!" Jacobo responded back
Cinder stomped on the foot of the cop who had been going to load her into the cop car and took off running. However,Scooby stuck his tail out and tripped her and the cops resumed to go to take her away.
"We would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for those meddling punks and their dumb dog!!!" Jacobo snaps as him and Cinder were loaded into a cop car
The crowd starts cheering for Mystery Inc. once again
Velma walked up to Patrick to have a chat with him.
"Hi" Velma said rather nervously
"Hi. Listen,Velma, I know that I must have seemed very suspicious but you gotta believe me, I had nothing to do with this." Patrick replied
"I trust you. Listen, Patrick, i'm not glamorous, or mysterious, the one thing that's true is, that I like you. Very much. And I would like o go out with you again but this time, I wanna go as myself." Velma stated
"Yeah, i'd lie that, more than anything." Patrick replied
Daphne walked up to Fred as the crowd's cheering started picking up a little.
"They're cheering for us again." Daphne told Fred
"Yep, I always thought that was the best thing in the world. Guess I found something a little bit better." Fred replied
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Ruby and Scooby had decided to explain a few things to the press and pose for pictures. Scooby was busy retelling the evens of the adventure the two groups had on Spooky Island.
"Mrs. Rose, can we get your photo in this?" the female reporter asked as someone next to her held up Captain Cutler's helmet
"Yes." Ruby responded grabbing the helmet
Ruby eventually got it on and imitated the growls of a monster which got Scooby to turn around. Not knowing it's Ruby, he screamed.
"Rikes!!! RMonster!!" Scooby said as he grabbed a microphone pole and smacked Ruby a few times still not knowing it was her
Shaggy eventually ran over and had to hold Scooby back as Ruby took off the helmet.
"Scooby, it's just me!" Ruby said sounding a tad bit dazed
"Ruby!" Scooby yelled as he jumped out of Shaggy's arms and tackled Ruby
Scooby started licking Ruby's face over and over just like he did to Shaggy back in the underground chamber on Spooky Island during their time there, Fred and Daphne hugged and shared a kiss, Blake and Yang did the same thing Fred and Daphne did, and after Ruby finally managed to get Scooby off of her, she stood up and turned to the great dane.
"You know what to do, Scooby." Ruby said
"Scooby-Dooby-Doo!!" Scooby cheers
