Flashback

We sat around a table, all in silence and stared at the spot where an all-might hologram once stood.

I was shaking.

How could I fail?

How could I disappoint my family like that?

How could I get zero points?

I stared at my lap and awaited the onslaught of comments.

"You got...zero points (n)?" My father seethed.

"What did you do?" My mother backed him up.

"I tried to defeat the robots but my quirk doesn't give me a strength boost or anything!" I tried to defend myself

"You have three sets of arms! You could've done something!"

"If I did I would've gotten seriously hurt! I-"

Then my father raised his hand...

And slapped me clean across the face.

"Why couldn't you have manifested a better quirk. You're such a disappointment."

"You can go to Magnolia Prep. Maybe they'll get some sense into you."

"No! Mom! Dad! I'm sorry."
I wept and cradled my hurt cheek.

"Grow up (n), (mn) we're leaving."

They both glared at me and left through the open door.

I continued to cry at the memory.

My father's quirk is that he can grow extra body parts out of himself-it's very useful.

My mother's quirk is that she can move her arms up to 100x the speed of a normal person's if she wishes- also useful.

Naturally, my quirk turned out to be multiple limbs, focused into the arms- not useful at all.

I hear my phone ring and I pick it up.
"Hello?" I call, trying to sound as if I've not just been crying.

"She answered!," a hushed voice answers and I hear giggles from the other side.

"Who is this?"

"Uh it's Denki. Who are you and why are you on Yuga's phone?"

"Um I'm (n)? Why are you on his phone anyway?"

"Are you his girlfriend?"

"Excuse me?"

"Are you his girlfriend?"

"No, why would you think that?"

"Well-" the voice gets cut off by a door opening.
There's some shuffling around on the other end.

"I'm sorry mon amie, my friends took my phone."
